My favorite memory of WoW is discovering something new about myself. I took a lot of time deciding what class I would roll for the first time and finally decided on Rogue, but what I didn't think about was how this reflected on my personality. I needed something with stealth, I was too scared to play otherwise and I also realized that pertained to other aspects of my life. I shelved my rogue, rolled a Warlock that day, and felt invincible.
My favorite memory was when my friend bought me the Swift Alliance Steed. They were removing the means of obtaining it in only 3 hours and he bought it for me being a great friend. I ran ToGC10 multiple times and lost alot. I lead the raids and lost. He bought the mount using his own gold and didnt even want me to pay him back. What a great person:)
My favorite memory was completing the Dreadsteed of Xoroth warlock quest chain. It was my first character, so coming up with the materials and gold for the quest chain took some time and some effort; thankfully, all of that work was worth when I had finally purchased the Black Lodestone and the other materials. I got together a guild group, and we made our way into Dire Maul West. I had never been there before. I had a great time, and after we defeated the last instance boss, I set about starting the ritual. The fight itself was pure chaos. Wave after wave of demon coming though the portals, ritual stones losing power and needing attention, and even trying to Enslave a demon here and there. The whole encounter was amazing, and at the end of the battle, I received my Dreadsteed mount. It was truly an amazing memory that I will never forget. Since the Black Lodestone does not currently work with the new Soul Shard system, I am currently unable to experience it again; the memory of that fight is all that I have.
25 man raid in Tempest Keep. we are still trying to get the fights down pat. We were very close so everyone flasks up and brings there A-game for the next go. The tank rushes in and engages the boss. The rest of the raid watches the threat meter ready to go when they realize the tank is only auto attacking and not using abilities at all. The silence on Vent is broken by the sound of the Main Tank snoring. He had fallen asleep as he pulled the boss. The rest of the raid was laughing so hard we didnt care about the wipe.
My favourite memory was on my first character. Exploring and questing and killing my way from the Valley of Trials to Razor Hill. Then I was sent to Orgrimmar to meet Thrall. My jaw dropped when I came to Orgrimmar. Entering those gates for the first time left a big impression on me.
My favorite memory without a doubt was hitting 80 for the first time. It was the most work I'd ever put into a game before. That was a huge accomplishment for me. Now just gotta get my second 85! That'll be even better!
My favorite memory in WOW was the time me and my friends invaded storm wind and fought the alliance. this is my favorite because while very one on else was 85 i was 60 so i got wooped but it was my first pvp experience in the game and was extremely fun.
My favorite WoW moment would have to be the Million Mammoth March that happened on my old server, Cenarius. It started out like any other day, loitering near the auction house, casually reading trade chat and wondering at what it signifies about humanity itself. A couple of people decided to mount up on their mammoths. Maybe they felt like being tall? Maybe they were showing off? Maybe, just maybe, the fates aligned and it was the destiny of all players to mount the proud beast that day? Soon, two mammoths turned to ten and moments later a sea of beasts crowded the Orgrimmar Valley of Strength. First we formed a line, then we just became a huge cluster. Everyone was laughing and joking together. The trolls became silent, It was a rare moment where the server seemed to act as one unit. Suddenly, we got the idea to raid Stormwind. Though the raid didn't work in the end, riding cross country with at least 100 fellow mammoth riders felt amazing. We reached the gates of Stormwind in a line and barreled inside. Some of us went our seperate ways, some went into the heart of Stormwind, and some just stayed in Goldshire trying to squash things. No matter what the outcome, I always remember that as a day where I shared something with a large group of people, which is one of the things that drew me to WoW and still does.
My favorite memory is when i was walking through mulgore on my tauren shaman and seeing ghost howl i was so amazed. I killed him and the fact that he dropped a quest even made me happier.
