my favorite memory in WoW was when i first downed nefarian when he was the hardest boss in the game. It gave me a great feeling of accomplishment to kill the hardest boss that exsisted at that time.

Strangely enough, my favorite memory is of me standing outside the Wal-mart I was dragged to at 2am because my friends' guild Mage walked out on a Kara run. Deciding I had enough gaming skill to replace her (That was a big bet for them to make back then too, I was terrible!) they made a midnight run to the store, buying me Vanilla and BC, and a time card. What started as making me a replacement turned into some of the better moments in my life. Meeting my husband was directly linked to this event. If they hadn't "forced" me into WoW, I wouldn't have tried it and I wouldn't be where I am in life right now. /happy
My first WoW char was a human mage, "Rodslinger" from my AD&D days. The first time I walked through the gates of Stormwind, I was awe struck. I explored there until I found myself in Iornforge, followed by Darnassus. I don't think I did a single quest that day, just wandered around admiring the cities. What a day!
My favorite memory of wow was back when LK first came out, i loved the Death Knights ability to become a ghoul after death it is to this day my favorite spell. Every time i die in a battle ground and the persons at 3k hp i wish that ability was still there and i could come back and suicide bomb myself again dealing damage and getting my revenge.
Definitely my favorite moment in WOW was participating in my very first raid, which was WOTLK Naxx. I had never raided before and had only experienced it through hearing stories from my friends and watching videos on Youtube. So when we wiped spectacularly on the very first boss, I wasn't upset, I was ecstatic. I had just had my very first raid wipe.Definitely member able.
My favorite moment? It was looking for group for Hogger! It was my first time in WoW... I played a warrior. When I dinged 8 level, I've accepted quest WANTED: "Hogger".After 5 wipes of my soloing I managed to find a group. And I did it! I've found a warlock and a paladin. Paladin didn't know how to heal, but we downed the "boss" before he killed me. Looting Huge Gnoll Claw as an epic was... epic! Also he dropped my first green weapon. Short Bastard Sword of the Bear! I loved it :)
I think when I finally dropped EQ2 for the better game. Took a while though, and I still miss my Iksar in that game. Ah well.
Yea i started playing this game at the end of January of this year and i can remember my buddy getting me into this game. When i made my first toon he meet up with me and game me 4 netherweave bags and 200 gold. I was like wow. Then we continued our journey from there and now im lvl 85 and we are raiding and i did my first lich king with him and the guild that he invited me to. Lets just say, Xbox 360 has been a thing of the past and has been very neglected. But hey, WoW is freaking awesome.
My favorite memory will be and always have been is doing the quest 'Challenge of the Black Flight' in Dustwallow Marsh, seeing is how I love the drakes, and dragons in general.I remember when I placed that banner down, it was my first time seeing a drake. I fell in love and was amazed about how good they looked.I looked up what Onyxia looked like after that and she has been my favorite character in World of Warcraft, bar none.I'm glad they still have that quest after the Cataclysm quest updates. I always do that quest whenever I can on new toons. =D
My favorite memory was the event of the shattering, just before cataclysm, where we get to save the capital cities from destruction. It felt like an outside raid where anybody could join in to help.
I am always surprised to see so many people playing the game with their sound turned off. While I had many experiences related to music which I remember fondly, I can easily choose two that still make me smile.Stepping into ToC for the first time, and starting the fight. I could be fighting rats in there, and it still would have felt absolutely epic. It made perfect sense for the environment and made me feel like I was enduring a challenge. Perfect. I never changed my Crusader title.Entering Howling Fjord for the first time. When WotLK came out, I started questing in Borean, and was pretty unimpressed with the zone. Then I moved onto Howling Fjord. The music is mysterious and of an obviously nordic origin. It was indicating the zone was both beautiful and dangerous, and it remains, until now, my favourite zone music, along with the Grizzly Hills one.Long story short, for me at least, music adds an enormous value to any game, and I hope developers never forget that. (Super Mario Galaxy, anyone? :D)
My favorite memory was when i was finally geared enough to raid in wrath of the lich king, after a couple of weeks of wipes in heroics, stuff that you couldn't disenchant, and items you didn't need, it was just a huge relief that i could say: DPS LFG ICC.
