My favorite WoW moment came back in 1997. It was my first Hallows' End, and I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, that was also the year that a freak blizzard in Buffalo left large parts of the area without power for almost two weeks. I wound up spending a good chunk of that time sitting in the dining area of the local supermarket (which had free Wi-Fi) with my laptop, trick-or-treating to innkeepers. It did a lot to take my mind off of the fact that I'd be going home to a dark apartment for the tenth day in a row!
The time I spend on the time was very fun so trying to pick out a fav memory might be something have to think about here. :)I guess it would have to be the day I met a player when I was lvl 12 and even I was still new to the game. He would take me for a tour around outland. I know it may seem weird to be there at that lvl but the fact someone I never played with before would take their time to show someone new around is a nice thing when compared to all the others who rather do there own thing and rarely care to help another out.
Ok, so. Me and my friend had just started playing WoW after stopping playing Halo 2. We were running into Thunderbluff to turn in a quest or something, blahblahblah. Anyway... so we had this really redneck friend from Halo named Josh, but when he talked it was just the funniest thing ever. We saw a Female Tauren vendor patting around Thunderbluff and I said to my friend in a really southern tone, "Momma? Is that you?......DID YOU SHAVE?" All that happened for the rest of the night was epic lolz. To this day, 5 years later, we still laugh about that. Thought I'd share this, so much win.
My best memory in WoW is when I got the Betrayer of Humanity axe that dropped off KT in Naxx. Here's the story: I started playing two weeks prior WoTLK came out. Got my first paladin up to 55, then once I bought WoTLK, I made a Death Knight. Leveled her up to 80 and what not, still pretty new to the game. A friend of mine got us into our frist raiding guild. Never did any BC or old Vanilla WoW raids before I raided Naxx. My guild at the time was doing a 10 man Naxx and needed a DPS, so I decided to go. They knew I was new to raiding and helped me out as we progressed. Once we got down everything and made it to KT, and wipe a few times, the Betrayer of Humanity axe dropped. My GM had been farming Naxx just for that axe alone. We all rolled 1-100, and I must of had luck on my side that day, but I rolled 100. Even though my GM wanted that axe, he was fair, and since I got the highest roll, he gave it to me. Everyone was mad, yet congratulated me. Even my GM was pissed, I could tell, but he was being a team player and congratulated me. Best WoW moment ever. To this day, I still have that axe.
Getting Lok'Delar and Rhok'Delar on my hunter. Getting a staff that transformed into a bow (and vice-versa) was pretty awesome to me back in the day. I always thought that the fact that it looked like some sticks taped together was kinda lame, but killing those demons solo after poring over every strategy I could find on the internet was definitely a fun little challenge. I loved the guildies I had back then, and looking at these guys sitting in my bank always brings back some fond memories.
My greatest memory of world of warcraft is when i newly joined ^^ it was acctually my boyfriend who got me to join it! , the funny thing was when i joined with a new caracter night elf i think it was ^^ i got bombed with loads of guilds! and i got loads of friends in 1 day! , i loved the game directly :) i dont have to many memories because i have only been gaming in one week :D but as far ive seen the game is more than great ;P right now im in an awesomeguild, and i cant say enough to explain my memory :D its just woaw ;] i have allready reached 50 levels :] and the friends i have got thats helping me is my great memory :) every one of them are really possetive peoples :P, and i also ran onto a boss by misstake zD he killed me in one hit :] it made me laugh really bad. and i dont even know why :P my friends thought i went nut when i ddnt answer them because i laid on the floor rolling around. my brain just went out for a ride i guess ;D
My Favorite moment in WoW was when I found Burgy Blackheart the first time I went to search for him because I wanted his hat so badly. I thought I will be farming weeks and weeks but after i got it I was so happy that I could cry.
My favorite memory was the first time i did the original version of Stratholme, I had always been a big fan of WC3 and the epicness of fighting through such a memorable city and at the time one of the few locations that i felt really captured the dire threat of the Scourge on Azeroth.
My Favorite wow memory was winning the STV fishing tourney. Winning had eluded me for the better part of a year. Always 1 to 2 fish short, always ganked repeatedly, etc. etc. I won it barely beating out a NE hunter that was racing in to the vendor at the same time. I turned in right before he scattershotted me. It was so gratifying to have a personal achievement that I had worked on for ages to get.
I remember the very first time I dinged 60 on my Tauren hunter back in the vanilla days around the time Naxxramas was released and ziggurats were floating all over Thunder Bluff. It was a long road of work back then to reach 60 and I felt so proud when I finally hit the 60 mark whilst fighting trash on the ramp to the optional summoned ogre boss in LBRS. Had spend months looking up to others at maximum level with their epic mounts and fantastic blue and sometimes purple gear, and now I was on my way to get all that as well. Good times, where things were a lot more simple but harder to achieve.
