Favorite memory has to be entering my first raid: Karazhan. It seemed like an entire step up in awesomeness from heroic dungeons and it was so awesome to work with 5 additional people.
My favourite moment was when I got to kill the Lich King. That was the first time I was involved in beating an end-of-expansion boss, and for me it was a feeling of taking part of the lore - getting involved. With it also came a feeling of regret of not having taken the same part in defeating Illidan, but also a wish to continue working towards the defaeat of Deathwing. Good times!
the year: 2005. it has been a long night of domo attempts. the raid is called, people are chit-chatting on vent while standing 20 feet away from our smugly triumphant adversary. i have decided to teach them a difficult lesson about permitting an enemy to build such confidence. i stroll nonchalantly halfway down the ramp that leads up to the butler's chamber, discreetly create a portal to orgrimmar, and return, the stench of my compatriots' cowardice thick in the air. amid chuckles of the week's e-drama affairs (apparently one of our officers cheated on her husband with a guildie, lol), i target domo and wind up the greatest full-cast pyro this world has ever witnessed. i do not stay to gaze upon its glorious crit of nearly 1800, for i have already cast slow fall and bounded over the ledge to the sweet safety of my awaiting dimensional tunnel. "WHO THE F*#!@$@**#@ DID THAT" cries out the raid leader over vent. "", say i.
My favorite memory of World of Warcraft is the day that they introduced Honor into the game. World PvP had never been so fierce. Everywhere you went, you could find players PvPing. It wasn't just a battle for South Shore or Tarren Mill, the whole world was under siege! Multiple 40 man raids going around killing everything in sight! The best part about that day was organizing about 5 raid groups of people and charging them into Stormwind. Unfortunately, the server couldn't handle it and it crashed.
I will always remember my first time in Naxx 80. It was the first time in a raid and I learned so much in such a fast run.
After farming for weeks and weeks finally finding and getting jadefang. Kept on missing it and even one of my friends got one in like five min but once i got mine it was worth it.
My favorite moment in wow was running through the stockades for the first time. I got my poor ton killed time and again before finally able to beat the boss. It seemed so terrible and difficult, like it was a major achievement. Still is good fun to run my main through there and wiping out the entire population solo. It was some of the first runs i made with my long time guild friends. Memories... lol
My favorite memory is when I got my very first mount on my very first character. It was back in vanilla time, you could only get it as early as level 40, unfortunately it was VERY expensive so I was about level 47 when I bought my first stallion. I cheered both ingame and real life and spend about half an hour of riding through Elywynn forest and Westfall just for the joy.
My favorite WoW memory would have to be when I was Guild Lead of a raiding guild (and still quite new to WoW), and our guild was working on our first full Karazhan clear. I had a habit of trying to ease the group's tension by intentionally causing the odd humorous wipe. I decided to take the run more seriously than usual as we all wanted to clear this once and for all. On our way to Nightbane this random NPC - from an entirely different section of the raid map we hadn't even been to - came out of nowhere, killed me, and leeched back leaving the rest of the raid unharmed. The whole situation felt like I was being taught a lesson by the raid instance. The entire guild laughed about that for quite some time. It's safe to say I don't cause wipes anymore... at least not intentionally ;)
My favorite wow memory was when I was on my hunter and I was running a group for temptest keep and ashes of alar dropped but I lost and I was like grate and stuff then I waited till Tuesday and started another group and of course it dropped again and I lost but it was my favorite wow moment because I got it 2 times in a row with a 2% dropp rate
My favorite WoW memory has to be my favorite cataclysm heroic dungeon achievement . I was on my hunter and i was in survival spec. I hit 2 multishots and next thing i knew my screen was frozen for a few seconds. After the lag stopped recount showed my dps was 109k. Every one in the dungeon was like holy crap. I also got my valor trinket after that dungeon. Ever since i use survival for aoe but have gotten very close to that number on big pulls. That has to be my favorite wow moment.
My all time favorite moment on WoW in all my 7 years of playing has got to be one from my recent history.A guild member and I were in a fail Black Temple run, he for the reputation and me for gear on an alt. After some noobs wiped us and left, we decided to call in the cavalry. So four of us: the Guild Leader, our main healer, the member who wanted the rep,and I, all start beating the crap out of this raid relentlessly. We are all Vanilla Veterans and have known each other for quite sometime and so this feeds our over-cockiness. On our way to Mother Shahraz we are passing through the Temple Acolyte when our healer gets more bored than usual and starts pulling very large groups of very pretty females. Still cocky we aren't paying attention to him and we hear him say on vent " Oh you hooker, you used my CD's! I'm going to smite you when i get out of this Mind Control!" Red flags instantly go off in our heads and our guild master yells "Kill him!" Our healer dies, quickly(lol). After a gratuitous amounts of cussing us out and a ton of laughter over vent he then states that "I'm ready now Ive got my pvp trinket on, you guys are so dead next time." Only a few more groups of concubines are left between us and Mother Shahraz and our healer proceeds to pull them for some reason, he might have just gotten bored but we think he just wants to kill us three. Quickly 50(exaggeration) female blood elf's, draenei and humans converge on him and suddenly his name goes red on my screen. Im thinking " great now they are going to kill me...". Then I realize that the only one not Mind Controlled is him because he has all the aggro! The Concubines proceed to Love Tap him down effectively stunning him in place while all three of our characters auto attack him to death! Laughter ensues in the vent channel. After about 5 we finally catch our breath the guild master asks him "Good thing you had that pvp trinket on right?". More laughter. Best night on WoW ever lol.
My favorite moment is from a ZG (lv60) run. We were on the Jin'do trash, and since we were still relatively new to Jin'do, we were still setting CC targets. So right after one of our priests does a shackle pull, our warrior lead charges the shackle target, breaks it, and runs back towards the group without picking up the broken shackle, which of course promptly runs over and stomps the poor priest who tried to shackle it. To this day I don't know if the break was intentional or not, but it got almost everybody in guild laughing out loud over vent, between the warrior's timing and offhand reaction to the offending mob crushing the poor priest.
my all time fav monent was the first time i did naxx 40 back in classic it was crazy so much stuff going on and half of us were in grap blues it was a slaughter feast boy classic was the bomb i miss it so
I think one of my favorite memories is one of my earliest. My first time in DM North for a tribute run. I was running with the guys that got me into the game in the first place. 2 good friends from work. Took hours. We were up so late that all three of us saw the sunrise and called in sick. We did get it done though and I got my first tarnished elven ring.My other fond memory came a few months ago when I finally got my time-lost proto-drake. Seeing it pop up on my NPCScan, moving my camera like a madman and finding ti coming down the hill outside Frosthold behind me. Killed it got the mount and learned it. I then got a little sad. I had the mount but what I loved was the adrenaline rush of finally getting that item you've farmed so very long.
