Now then, since I'm in a topic starting mood... What about the updated lore for instances, I'll use SM as an Example. ((Also while we're at it anyone wanna tell me what the Horde Version of the Stockades is?)) There's two different Story Lines going on inside of Scarlet Monastery, which one of these (If either) would be used as official lore? How would we know? And why was it that one and not the other? I mean you have the Forsaken Wiping out The Scarlet Crusade in one, and the Scarlet Crusade being re-formed with the support of the Alliance in the other, I don't understand it. QQ
Why don't I have Captchas anymore? Hmm... /Ponder

I would guess the "official" would be a compromise, seeing as the same bosses die regardless of faction. In the case they directly contradict each other (which is, more or less, impossible according to the previous statement), the compromise simply has to be a bit more creative.
If not... well, the only real way to see anything official on it, would be if the story-lines in question were followed up later.
In the case of Scarlet Monestary, I assume this compromise is that the existing leaders are eradicated, and the possible survivors - now all free and jolly - join the Alliance as standard foot soldiers. I think it's very unlikely that we'll hear more about the Scarlets anymore anyway.
Faction-specific instances like Ragefire Chasm or Stockades are... well, faction-specific, and is only there for gameplay reasons for the other faction.

Yeah; for the most part, if there is someone there in the instance with us, it's considered that they are the main killers and we were just their assistance.
