To the OP, let me say that I know where you're coming from...because I was sort of on that same boat, not being able to put as much time into the game as I used to for various reasons. But I didn't go and QQ about it, I moved on. I found something else that I can do to occupy my time other than WoW. I know there are plenty of people who have time to do things in WoW like I, or we used to be able to. But remember, it's a game, the game should be fun and it should never feel like a chore. Do something funner. Maybe try a different game, maybe something that doesn't require time commitment to be good or to have fun. There are tons of options, just remember...It will be there when you get back, and it's not a necessity. There shouldn't be more "Casual" content, it's not the game's fault, you just don't have time to do what is available.

The only thing I could think of is mini-games. You and a team formed of NPCs go into battle within WoW doing solo mini-dungeon type fights or going out on world spanning quests.
Truthfully this is not the nature of a game that wants players to interact, but if properly implemented could fill a void now filled with the idleness of being a city squatter.

4.2 is releasing more casual content i think.

4.2's casual content will be the tier 11 raids.
My only hope is that there will be enough PUG raids to satisfy people. And the loot drama will be hairy.
Frankly, they should probably consider the ultimate nerf to raids that fall out of their prime: making them 5-mans. They'd slot right into the LFD. They would have to do something about lockouts, though.

It won't just be that. We get dailies too =D.

the fact that they reduced everything by 20% was basically them admitting that they overtuned normal version raids in 4.0/4.1.
i can't think of another instance that wasn't the very end of an expansion where they just gutted an entire tier of content.
I don't quite think so.
I feel the raids will become TOO easy. Keep in mind we'll have 359 gear that is easily purchased.
