Ok well I am not real sure what to put the gear more toward the strength or the stamina.. Yes the DK is new to me and I am between frost and unholy. I like the fact there is a ghoul with ya. I was told I need to do agility also but am unsure as to exactly why . If am correct I need the strength or am really confused. I thought only time you need that much agility was for hunters. I hope I did not confuse anyone here. I wasn't sure how to explain what am asking sorry.. I just want to get my gear in the right direction thanks

You don't need agility at all. Strength is your best stat as a dps dk whether you are frost or unholy. If you just rolled your dk, you will notice lots of faceroll and that it will hardly be a challenge at all until somewhere in northrend. Still learn how to play your class PROPERLY so you don't end up being one of the "deathards" which has become an unfortunate stereotype of people rolling dks and getting to level cap without knowing how to play them. There are plenty of stickies in these forums to help you with gearing decisions, stat weightings, gems, enchants, and whatnot. I would suggest giving those a go and gl with your new dk.

Basically, the sticky threads at the top of this forum are where you want to go, however as a quick snap shot for 4.1 the best stats you can get while soloing are:
In order
Strength
Stamina
Hit
Haste
Mastery (After 80)
Crit
Expertise
That being said, as long as you pick up Strength plate with stats like haste and critical instead of stats like dodge and parry, you'll be fine.
