Log out in your Tank gear please.
Don't reforge ALL your dodge to parry, reforge both of them to mastery in varying amounts so that you can get them both at the same levels. Is the 18% including SSG? Because that has no factor for DR, so it's effectively 14%. Getting 3% less parry for 3% more dodge will fix that.

When looking at parry and dodge, whichever you have less RATING of, that is the higher priority. It is usually going to be dodge just because we get parry rating from strength which is one of our prime stats. Make sure your looking at the ratings though, and not the percentages. So to minimize diminishing returns, if you have a piece of gear with parry/mastery on it that you can't reforge into more mastery, reforge the parry into dodge.
If you have a piece of gear with both dodge and parry, reforge the parry to mastery instead of dodge so that you can simultaneously get more mastery and even up your dodge and parry ratings to minimize diminishing returns.
I personally do not reforge dodge/mastery gear. Since you can't reforge into any more mastery, and you don't want more parry at the expense of dodge since your more than likely already have more parry rating than dodge rating.
I can't really see how your survivability has "gone down the drain". You lost maybe 1-2k health and 1-2% avoidance. Neither of which should impact your survivability all that much, even if you gained nothing in return. Make sure your using DS in the most efficient way possible. Knowing the fight ahead of time and when burst damage is going to occur so you can align your DS to time properly with it.
Remember, mastery does nothing if your not using DS. Make sure your using it.

it sounds like op is saying he reforged out of dodge when it was already his lowest between parry and dodge? especially if he ended up with 8% dodge and 18% parry.
That's exactly what I did.
Yeah...don't do that.
Your ratings between parry and dodge should be equal. Look at my DK in my signature. Observe my gear and gemming and reforging. My survivability is through the roof.
However, I also game my runes for 8-10 DS's a minute. So I get full use out of all my mastery.

All reforging, enchanting and gemming fix done for you with one
click
.
Yes, its really that simple.
I don't like it. Expertise is too high, Stamina is slightly too low, physical hit is slightly too low. I know you can make your own presets, but I don't think you should just hand it off to people.
Edit: The avoidance build is also horrible, it weighs Mastery much too low.

I don't like the default weights for mrrobot or wowreforge either, but for different reasons. They are good tools however if you know how to use them properly.
I personally prefer wowreforge because it lets me set a minimum expertise rating and then reforges to make that amount without any extra while still balancing my weighted stats properly.

Just did a bit more reforging and now Dodge is to about 11% with Parry at 16.65% and Mastery at 130% absorb bubble. Will have to work on it more tomorrow.
Remember, the percentages DON'T MATTER. Its the dodge rating and parry rating you need to be giving us. Make sure you have horn of winter up when you check them.

Actually not exactly.
Horn of winder gives you parry rating, but dodge portion od agility doesnt show as dodge rating.
Also this doesnt include kings.
Just use the damn site.
Well yes all raid buffs would be the best option. But since its very difficult to get a full raid together just to buff you to check your ratings for reforging purposes, it's not a viable option.
But you always have horn of winter, which you will always have in a raid. So you might as well use that when your comparing since its something you have control over at any time.
The dodge rating from agility bug won't be an issue in less than a week.
Only ratings effect diminishing returns. There are a number of things that will add either parry or dodge but not in rating form that are not effected by DR. That's why you don't use percentages when you compare them.

Untrue. Dodge portion from agility affects diminishing returns on dodge. Always did.
Blizzard were too lazy to to actually make the same thing they did with str (0.25 of non-base str shows up as parry). 0.4 of non-base agi should show as dodge rating. It doesnt. But its still there.
Blizzard way of fixing stuff they were too lazy to implement is to take away the whole reason to fix it. So they are taking dodge from agility for 3/4 tanks. As for bears...blizzard is known for their love towards druids and hunters. Who cares for bears.
I think you missed the whole "in less than a week" portion of my comment. You seem to ignore portions of my comments often when replying to them, usually the important parts that completely negate the reason for your entire reply in the first place. You know what they call that right? Trolling.
They are taking it away because we are a strength based class, not an agility based class. They are trying to streamline the stats(one of the key changes with cataclysm). They also are increasing our base chance to dodge, which will counter act most of the dodge lost from agility. I wouldn't be surprised if they also took critical chance away from agility for us in the future, and make agility a "useless" stat right next to spirit and int.
