4.2 - Retribution 2pT12 and Haste

Your Crusader Strike deals 15% additional damage as Fire damage over 4 sec.
Haste is at present our worst rating, and is aggressively reforged away from. What I'm wondering is with the 2pT12 set bonus in 4.2, will it be beneficial to aim for an 11.11% haste mark, to reduce our Crusader Strike cooldown to an even 4 seconds? This way the fire DoT would have a more or less 100% up time. Or, is it just not going to be worth it?

I'd imagine that less than half a second isn't worth that much.

Hmm wil my current gear and when i judge. with the talent from the holy tree. I'm at around a 4 sec cd on CS. So the 4sec Cd shouldn't be that hard to get.
Now as for the info on the dot. I'll wait to the patch goes live before I can make my choice or not. But I do know this ticks on Dot Mech. and some funny business sometimes. And knowing Blizz it would require use to have to get our cd to like a 3 sec cd.

Depending on your gear u may be close to 11.11% haste anyway even if it is reforged away especially with ilvl 372+

I don't think so. Keep in mind, you will be using 2 fillers in between every CS, which means that, because of the GCD, you'll have 4.5 seconds between every CS anyway, regardless of what the cooldown actually is. Ideally, the dot will expire and go its full duration every time, and then fall off and be refreshed a half second later. I can see no scenario where constant uptime on the dot will outweigh using 2 fillers between every CS.
There is no question that if got enough haste a 1 filler CS rotation would yield more DPS than a 2 filler CS rotation. More CS's means more holy power, and thus more TV. Now the reason we don't do that now, is because we don't have the haste available to do so.
The addition of this DoT adds more benefit to the 2 filler rotation. Like hammer said, the DoT will be allowed to run its full duration, while you using the second filler.
Depending on the haste we get in up coming tier's well see if the 1 filler rotation comes back.
