Yeah yeah...there's an old thread that asks this, but it isn't in the form of a poll, and the test he links isn't as detailed.
Anyway, here's a link to a Keirsey Personality test based off the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator:
http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp
The hardest part of taking this quiz is that you might be tempted to answer how you want to be, not how you actually are. So try your best to be objective. It'll be interesting to see what the composition on this will be. It'll be interesting to see the breakdown of Wowheaders :) I'm predicting a lot of INTJs....
For those of you who are unfamiliar with this personality test, there are basically 16 personality types according to Jung. For a more detailed description, you can see the wiki
here
. Of course, there is debate on how accurate this is, and taking this online probably doesn't help that. Still, it's fun.
Also be sure to post the detailed version of your results. For instance, I scored:
INFJ
Introverted Intuitive Feeling Judging
Strength of the preferences %
100 38 25 67
Of the 16 types, I'm a
Counselor
. Basically...I'm an empathetic do-gooder with a complex internal world. X_x

I haven't done it in a while, but if I recall correctly:
ENTJ
Extroverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging
10, 100, 5, 51
Or numbers along those lines. I was very close to being INFJ.

The difficult thing for me is not necessarily choosing option that reflects who I am, rather than who I want to be. Rather the difficult thing for me when taking personality tests is figuring out what I would do in a situation when sitting at a laptop. It's the same problem I have choosing options in Mass Effect. I analyze the situation logically and take the most logical option, rather than consider it from all the perspective of a person with the emotional and hormonal states that come with that situation.
Take for example, the Crying Baby dilemma. Imagine you're hiding from Nazis or aliens or whatever. Point is, they'll kill you if they find you. There's many of you, ten or more, and a baby starts crying. To remain alive, you have to smother the baby (you might not have to kill the baby in a real situation, but for philosophy's sake, assume you have to). Logic dictates the baby will die either way, and you can save lives by smothering the baby, but could you actually do it? I don't know.
Most personality tests do not offer you choices this drastic, but this is simply an exaggeration to better illustrate my problem. The underlying problem is that when I'm asked "What would you do in this situation," I really can't say for certain what I'd do. In pre-Army training, I've told myself ahead of time that I will fight through the pain and not quit, but when put to the test, I do sometimes let my weakness get the better of me and falter for a moment. Likewise, it's very easy to say "Yes, I would do X in that situation," but to reliably what you would do without under or overestimating yourself is astonishingly difficult.

Hey Skree, you do realise that most of the time, it's not about figuring out what you would do in a given situation? For example, the question: "Objective criticism is useful in an activity. True or false?" is simply asking about what you are, rather than what you would do.

Took a test back in February, and if I remember correctly, it was ENFP.

I don't actually have time to take the test right now, so I haven't seen what's on it. Most of the tests I have taken ask what you'd do in a particular situation.

Yeah, those tests aren't that great though. They're typically more contrived. Myers-Briggs is all about what you are like naturally, in day-to-day situations.

Yeah, the first time I took this, I was pretty skeptical. Figured it'd be like astrological signs, where it seems like they can all kind of fit with who you are.
After getting my score on a Myers-Brigg type test, and reading the descriptions of all the other 15 types, INFJ really is the only one that seems to fit me. By 'fit me', I mean it described me to almost a scary degree. A couple others come kinda close, but I'm definitely INFJ.

Mastermind, Field Marshall, Teacher, etc. are all just descriptions of what said people could be. Don't focus on the one-word description, look at the description of what said person is like for more details.

Just saw this bit. I disagree, if only because INTJ is actually reported to be the least common personality type.
INFJ and INFP are what I reckon are the most likely, followed by ENTP.
