My favorite zone has to be without a doubt Deepholm. Its got a addictive storyline that kept me playing, with out making it drag on. The Zone itself is beautiful to look at, the cliffs and gem encrusted cavern sparkles and is very eye catching. Even the area infested with mushrooms and stone troggs is a sight to behold. The fact the the area is littered with Ore deposits and a definite plus for me. But without a doubt the best part about Deepholm has to be the final quest. It epic battle that isnt faction vs faction, but Deathwing's Cult vs The Earthen Ring. Its intense and scary how close it all comes to failing but once you finish victorious its just so satisfying. I was so sad once it was over but I keep going back for the dailies and love every minute of it. Beside, who can look at pebble and not sequel over his cuteness?

Winterspring for sure, because I enjoy the whole winterspring Saber theme and love snowy areas. The new quest line where you raise your own mount from a cub is awesome. And i really like how the new quest lines ended up there for leveling there.
Having to pick one it would be Dun Morogh without a second thought. The reason behind this is because my first race in wow was a Dwarf, and that place was the first area i had the pleasure of exploring. The snowy scenery and that iconic soundtrack playing quietly in the zone, gives me fond memories when i fly past there from time to time, reminds me of simpler times :)
Well, I used to love Stranglethorn Vale in the early days of WoW. I've always been fond of jungle zones such as Sholazar Basin or Un'Goro, but STV holds a special place in my heart. Some may argue that it used to be a horrible ganking zone where you could never level peacefully; that, however, is the reason I used to love it.In addition to liking the scenery, the thrill of constantly looking over your shoulder or surveying the grounds for a short glimpse of red text was what made me return to that zone time and time again. Sure, you'd occasionally get horribly mauled by some allies, some even double your level, but I never lost motivation. It's just a corpse run. Soon it'd be their turn.Point is, there really aren't any world pvp zones for leveling anymore. Of course everyone can get their share of PvP action while doing Tol Barad dailies, but it's not the same. It's always a bit different when you're at max level. Therefore, my vote goes to old school Stranglethorn Vale.
I'd guess among the many zones I enjoyed playing trough multiple times now, the one that would be my favorite ist Westfall (both pre- and post-shattering).I love the rural appeal, the color of the wheat ready for harvest, the wide-open fields and the fact that it was my first real zone I ever experienced in wow after I finally stumbled out of Elwyn where I constantly had my view obstructed by trees, leaves and such.
I've always liked The Burning Crusade content and I honestly can't remember much about Shadowmoon Valley but I know it was home to a lot of interested stuff (such as rep grinding for awesome mounts or one of WoW's sickest instances, Black Temple). I think all of the Wrath of the Lich King zones were pretty equal in quality to me, as well as the new Cataclysm zones. It's hard to say what I really like most out of the tons of them in the game though. That's not really a decision I want to make, lol I like a lot of them quite similarly.
I really liked Uldum. It was nice to see some of the new things they were able to do, not only with phasing, but with cut scenes and in-game assets.
For me it would have to be Grizzly Hills. The music in the area is probably my favourite in the game which does make running an area much nicer. The quest lines might not be overly wonderful but there are some pretty nice ones, the Hour of the Worg chain sticks out to me. Overall, the zone just seems to be the best from STV, Nagrand and Hyjal, without some of the annoyances found in the others.
Netherstorm. Seeing other planets, electrical storms, and lord knows what else going on in the distance all around you while questing through (what used to be) a hectic and dangerous zone was an unforgettable experience back in the day.
I'd have to say Gilneas. Though I'm very, very fond of the Horde, Gilneas has a gothic-fantasy feel to it that I think Warcraft sorta needed. It's gritty, it's gloomy, and everything's at your doorstep at once, just waiting to come in and slaughter you.
