I always loved un'goro, whenever i level a character i can't wait to quest there. Love the jungle feel and just being down in the crater :)
I enjoyed playing the alliance side twilight highlands. I like the hill dwarves and who doesn't like getting drunk?
MY favorite zone has to be... Searing Gorge. Back in Vanilla before Battlegrounds, this was a hot zone to fight for mining nodes, as well as control of instance entrance. I miss the old world pvp.
Got to love GM Island, But in all seriousness I Really like Hellfire Peninsula it was a Great Intro for Outland and still felt solid even when Lv grinding after BC.
Hillsbrad Foothills was by far my favorite zone back in Pre BC! The battles between Southshore and Tarren Mill would last for days on my server. With the addition of AV and having to queue up at the cave even more horde and ally joined in for world pvp, ill never forget using the mind control helm from eng to MC the elite outside the AV cave and killing all the players that zoned out of AV :). Once BC came out and you could go to the CoT and go back and see all the crazy stories that happened in that zone was pretty epix!

Underground (Old) Ironforge, when it was not easy accessable.Aswell because you felt a bit unsure if you did something legit or not.
As others have said, I pretty much love them all, but my more favorite fav has to be Grizzly Hills - I love the feeling of the zone and the background music, as well as the quests. Every time I get to go back there, I spend extra time just enjoying the ambiance.
it would have to be the blood elf zone, eversong woods, it's where my main is from and a great introduction to the game,
I have to say my favorite is Old Hillsbrad in CoT, I don't know why, but whenever I go there it leaves the impression of lost knowledge and serenity. I love to go there and relax, and I never let any of my friends in with me, because they wil ltalk and ruin the feeling :)
I have a lot of zones that I enjoy, each one of them has hidden secrets. My top pick is definitely Hellfire Peninsula, I like to just fly around and land on the floating rocks when I get bored, or go mess with Doom Lord Kazzak just to hear him yell. My favorite thing about Hellfire Peninsula though is definitely the hidden skeleton holding the Jar of ashes... I've read the message a dozen times and the lore is still a mystery to me (possibly a reference to Tseric?). But its my favorite spot in the game."Here is a jar of ashes. These are the ashes of my sanity, my passion, and my drive. All, utterly destroyed by themselves. May all those who look upon these desolated lands of Hellfire remember this fallen peon. He shed blood for the Alliance, and sacrificed for the Horde only to be driven utterly mad by the wicked and soulless ones who devoured what he held most dear. As they feast from his toils, may they suffer his wrath. Maybe not in this world, but in every world hereafter. It is my declaration, my solem oath, and my everlasting promise. I will avenge my suffering."<3
I enjoy Tanaris. I've always liked the desert, and goblins too, I believe Tanaris shares both of these elements, plus, it has pirates, who hates pirates!
I got to say Zangamarsh of outlands because of the beautiful sky and mushroom forest. Although i got to say i love ALL of outlands and it will always have a place in my heart.
Honestly, though my answer would have probably been different before Cataclysm, I have to say, that since Cataclysm, my favorite zone is Vashj'ir. I love water, and I love the idea of being underwater in a subterranean city. However, I don't like fish, sharks, etc. in real life, so I tend to stay out of most bodies of water. This gave me a chance to see (albeit a cartoonied) a version of underwater that honestly, I love. Out of the 3 zones, my favorite is definitely Kelp'Thar forest.Pre-cataclysm, my favorite zone was Nagrand. It's just the perfect type of scenery. It's cheerful, yet not menacing. The floating islands add that perfect touch. But after cataclysm, Vashj'ir easily pushed it from the top spot.
