My favorite zone would have to be Stranglethorn vale(Pre Cataclysm). The zone just had so many quests and things to do. The level bracket for it was huge too so that was one big upside to it. Also, theres Booty Bay in STV giving you access to the pain in the butt fishing tourney :P, always fun to try but theres always someone that has more fish than you. Lastly, I remember taming King Bangalash, just another awesome pet for a hunter to have.
My favorite zone is Isle of Quel'Danas. I enjoyed the dailies there. The look and feel of the place. And then Magisters' Terrace was one of the best instances.
Love the ghost land myself it so awesome
Deepholm. Zone is absolutely stunning. I love the colors and feel of the zone. played through it on multiple toonz and still enjoy it.

Nagrand!Love the nature and the animals. Also the floating islands look awesome, especially the one with a huge tree on it. I find my self flying up there to chillwhenever I'm in the Outlands.
My favorite zone is most definitely Grizzly Hills. The zone is absolutely gorgeous, the music is so appropriate and I love the woods. The quests there are fun and it's always a pleasure to fly around there and just check out the beautiful landscape.
uldum. indiana jones, mining, and the camel mount. awesome
Scenery, PVP, raiding, fishing questing or some nerve wracking ganking. Hanging with some pirates or trading, Stranglethorn Vale of the old had it all. And thats why it was my favorite zone.
I would have to say my favorite zone is ANY of the night elf-heavy zones.I love their architecture and the NPCs. My first character was a night elf! Most of these zones are very nature-preservant and are full of trees and animals, which I LOVE!A good example for some of my favorite WoW places would be the Astranaar area (pre-cata), Feralas, and Lake Kel'Theril in Winterspring.
My favorite zone is Elwynn Forest! I love how relaxing it feels and looks. I like the logging camp and murlocs. :) When the Darkmoon Faire is in town it just seems like a really fun place to be! :D
I think Ashenvale holds a special place in my heart. years ago me and my brother quested here a lot and we really enjoyed the calm serene music as we lvled our Nelfs. the calm cool colors were a great escape to the blistering hot weather of real life summers and we always wished it was this cool irl as it appeared in-game.
I would say that my favourite zone is probably Uldum. I always loved the egyptian theme and the 'wow does egypt' was done really well. I mean c'mon archeology with harrison ford jones a cool setting and such. What more could you want.
My vote goes for Deadwind Pass, pre-BC. The atmosphere of the zone is captivating, and the zone itself is a secluded place. Back in the days, almost no-one went there, because apart from some 55+ ogres, nothing was there, no quests, no dungeons, nothing. Perfect grinding spot for me it was, I gained the last few levels on my rogue toon by taking circles around here. And also it was profitable, think pick-pocketing and the prized Assassination Blade I looted there...
Being a druid since vanilla, Moonglade has always been my favorite zone. Lots of druidic atmosphere, plus even now it reminds me of the truce that horde and alliance druids had while in that zone back before battlegrounds came out.
