I believe the warlock T6 (Malefic Raiment) was, and still is the greatest set, as it epitomises warlocks in their purest form as demonically influenced spellcasters. A lot of other tier sets do not even hint on what class the character is, such as the alliance rogue T9. The warlock T6 really gives you the nostalgic feeling as if you were back in the good old Burning Crusade and that is why it is, in my opinion the greatest tier set Blizzard has given us.
death knight tier 10 with tier 11 following close behind, while icc dragged on for far too long tier 10 was the best looking death knight armor in my opinion as of yet(well i dig the looks of tier 12 but i will have to wait until i can equip that) because it really made you look like that unholy shocktrooper with skulls everywhere that tells you i am a death knight dont mess around with me!
I have very nice memories of the Warlock T6 set, the Malefic Raiment. Back in BC, raiding T6 was something unreachable for me (seeing as how I was in a T5 raiding guild, and only the very best and most dedicated raiders were able to pull off a run through BT/SWP). I sometimes spotted a Warlock from the higher raiding guild (from what I remember, back then there was only 1 Horde guild on my server good enough to reach T6), wearing the full T6 set, and I would just look at him in awe... the curved horns, the glowing bits as if chunks of ember had been sewed in, the bones on the robes that seemed to form the 'carcass' of the garment, the deep dark colours, the fabulous wings that would occasionally appear and take you by surprise, the general "yeah, I'm a mean bugger that'll suck the life out of you" air of it all. I would find myself inspecting that guy, ctrl-click all his gear to see how it would look on my character - way too good, of course, which only made the longing worse. Then, a short while before Wrath came out, BC raids were nerfed... my guild immediately set out to try their hands at Illidan's elite leaders, and I was among the 25 men that night. We came as far as Mother Shahraz, and my heart skipped a beat when I saw the T6 shoulder token drop for the group my Warlock was in. I started praying to every God I don't really believe in, and counted the amount of Warlocks/Priests/Paladins who were present. There were way too many to my liking. Then I won the dkp bid..... Oh, my God! I almost did a little dance in my room, and didn't know how fast I had to rush to Hyjal Summit to get my very first piece of Malefic gear.I still have those shoulders in my bank. I'll never get rid of them.
T8 Rogue set, I loved the living shoulder piece.

Paladin's T1. Really, who doesn't wanna shake his bananass in in the middle of the capital?
Druid tier 1. Nothing say's "overhealing" quite like tranquility with next to no cooldown.
Priest Tier 2, because it looks amazing, without being ostentatious.
The dungeon 0,5 set for cow druids. Oh lord how I felt awesome healing a bazzilion different people in Molten Core. Big Raven shoulders and a dead bird on your head. Do not mess with mother nature or she will send us forth.
i loved the druid tier set 5 (Nordrassil Regalia), because the armour suited the night elf skin, fitted in well with forests but the coolest part were the shoulders which had really nice deep purple glow, its only a shame that in mookin form you couldnt see the armour.
The paladin Tier 2 is my favourite set. You look like the Judge when the final day comes, and it is one of the only plate sets with a kilt that look like it could be metal plated.Well, this and it looks awesome with Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros. The set and the mace could have been made for one another.http://i33.tinypic.com/2n24bok.jpg :)
Most definitely Judgment Armor because of the executioner look, that says: "I am the judge, jury and executioner, my word is the law! I am Judgement"... even though it looks like your wearing cloth :p
I love the Warrior T1 and T2 because those were my first complete Tier-Sets for my main character. When I become nostalgic I like to take them out of the bank with my Quel'Serrar and the Classic Trinkets/Rings and fly to our spot where my best guildmates and I used to farm Stoneskin Eels in the Hinterlands after every Raid all night long. It was great :-)Those two sets brings back many memorys and I still like the design of the Warrior T2 alot. It looks like a second skin to my female human warrior <3
Shaman T5 was awesome! Loved the Cataclysm theme, and it would be so awesome if it was here in this expansion as well!
My favourite has got to be Conqueror's Sanctification Garb, aka priest t8 set. Just love the collared mask type cowl for the headslot and black and silver with a glint of gold is always good colour design. Can't beat that.Well except maybe with the new paladin t12, which has some potential. Need to wait and see how it looks on the move on a tauren.
Warlock Teir 8, even though WotLK was a poor expansion, Ulduar was still a fantastic raid, and the teir sets were just as amazing. The look of the Warlock teir 8, was simply just, BADASS!
My favourite set is Warlock's Tier 2 Raid Set http://www.wowhead.com/itemset=212.Just look at it. It has everything what a good warlock should have.
