Tier 10 on warriors. Although the 5 piece DPS set bonus wasn't amazing, the set looked awesome.

I wasn't around for tier before t7; however out of the tier I've been around for, I really like the Hunter t10. I thought the set looked decently (minus the helm) and thought the 2p and 4p set bonuses were pretty good. A lot of the other ones seem boring like +10% serpent sting damage, increased pet damage, etc. Perhaps another reason I liked t10 was because it was out with Deathbringer's Will (most awesome trinket ever). But perhaps that's tangent.Going by looks alone... I actually liked hunter t9 (Alliance). Most hunters I talked to hated the look but I actually liked it.- Zardon (US-Medivh)
One of my personal Tier favorites has to actually be a rogue Tier set, however it's not T2. I do Like T2 but I actually prefer it's predecessor, T1(Nightslayer). I started playing back in mid-BC and saw a leather helm sold by the emblem vendors and fell in love with it instantly, and vowed that one day I'd get it, even if my main became my pally, I'd buy that helm. There was just something stealthy and mysterious about it that just emphasized everything I loved about my first character, my night elf rogue. Though I wasn't very good at tanking dungeons on my pally back in BC I started becoming a better tank in Wrath (back in it's 'newness', not ToC gear and healers going dps to actually have something to do =P). And once I was geared enough I went back to Shattrath and bought that helm, on my pally sadly, and still have it in my bank to this day =). I found out much later it was actually a re-coloring of the Rogue T1, and hence my lengthy answer and the reason why I have the full set on my now level 83 (soon to be 85) rogue, Étzio. And on a very short side note, the Pally T4 is my second favorite mainly because my pally was a male Draenei and I remember watching the BC Cinematic over and over, especially when it was maintenance day and I couldn't log on!
Hands down the Holy Paladin Tier 6 gear with the halo. I have been in love with that set since I've seen it. Despite being terribly out of date I am still very tempted to farm it for my paladin.
well for me its will be always and forever T05 or D2 http://www.wowwiki.com/Dungeon_Set_2it was my 1st and well not so easy to get set @ all, i would say it was 100% harder to get then nowadays T11/t10/t9 etcto make this quest line in that time u needed to spend half year, can u make this hard today also? dont think so.
I would go with the Bloodmage Regalia, simply because it was my first Tier set. Took years, but I finally got there, lol.
Warlock T2, Nemesis. Perfectly hit the staple cliches to give a general amazing warlock armor. Maybe there are some better looking sets later on, but nothing is quite as fitting as what T2 hit upon.
Rogue's tier 2 becouse it fitted with his role so much
To answer this question, I didn't have to spend any time deciding, because there is only one armor set that stands far above the rest for me. I first saw it in a fan art just as I was about to start playing WoW and the image has stuck with me ever since. It combines sturdiness with feeling of purpose and power from far beyond this world, all with painstaking attention to detail. Of course I'm talking about the Judgement Armor, tier 2 paladin armor from original WoW.Unfortunately, before I managed leveling up to 60, which wasn't such a joke that time as it is now, I missed lvl60 endgame content completely, because BC came along. Still, I will always remember this armor set as *the* image of WoW.
Rogue Tier 5 (Bloodmantle) was by far the coolest looking Rogue set. The skeletal visage, the bladed pauldrons, and just an overall sinister look to the set. I wish for Blizzard to bring back this type of look/feel for rogues, since we are the the lurkers of shadows and should instill fear at just a glance....... if they are lucky enough to see even that.
Oh god, Priest tier 5. I loved it. The cowl and wings looked so appropriate for healing priests. That set was actually one of the driving reasons I stopped playing my lock and switched to my priest instead. Really, I liked a large number of the T5 and T6 sets, and I'm sad that later tiers have looked so clunky and unoriginal.
My favorite tier set would have to be the rogue's T5. The Deathmantle set. DeathmantleIt's always been my favorite look for rogues. It just fits the shadowy assassin title so well. I never leave town without it!
