My main character is a Mage. Of all the tier sets, T8 Conqueror's Kirin Tor Garb was my favorite. It is the only set that used a tunic instead of a robe. I really loved the headgear and the Dalaran symbols on the shoulderpads. I wish Blizzard would give options for tunics or robes when designing tier sets.
druid tier 5 Nordrassil Harness was the best specialy the shoulder parts. i still keep it in my bankNordrassil Harness
T6 Hunter eyeballs are sexy

Warrior tier six for sure because never have i been closer to pooping my pants than when an orc warrior was charging me with this armor i mean come on they look like a frekkin battletank in this epic piece of armor :D
My long-standing favorite is the female druid Tier 5 armor - the Nordassil Raiment. Not only was it gorgeous, it also provided a great boost to one of the most useful (at the time) healing spells - rejuvenation - at just two pieces.
Judgement was my favorite teir set. Not only was it epic, not only did it have epic fan art, NOT ONLY do people STILL RP in it and you can find random NPCs wearing it, it was pretty much the best Paladin teir set to ever come out. And the only one that I'll accept for having a skirt. The argument that that's how paladins are supposed to look (in a "kilt") does not reach me. The new set is by far not my favorite at all. It looks like I'm wearing CLOTH. I'm a paladin aren't I supposed to be wearing awesome amazing plate? But anyway, Judgement was the most amazing teir set to ever ever ever exist, looks wise. Red, gold, black, amazing.
Priest T5 was by far my favorite. It looked amazing.
The Felheart set from Molten Core. Back when sets had an 8 piece bonus. While the horns were awesome on the felheart set, my favorite thing about the set was that it was my first epic set - and theres always something special about ones first things.
One of the best ones and more "I feel complete" sets was the Tier 6. You had to battle your way trough, so you just only had a chance of getting the most difficult piece by defeating two of the most bad ass bosses in the entire history of Warcraft, Archimonde and Illidan, you had to compete against another ten guys of the raid to get that helm that you always wanted (That if it dropped), and that was only when you actually killed the boss after twenty attemps. Basically it was a pain getting all of the pieces, but when you had every one of them, even more if you were a Warrior Tank with Illidan's shield, you were the best tank ever, and there was no argue about since there was no heroic version of them. Those were the days, though.. a certain legenday item could and would have make you look better as well... *cough*.
I was very happy in my Corruptor Raiment, i especially love the shoulder and head pieces (i still keep them somewhere in my bank). It looked cold and scary, just as it should be for a warlock. Then Malefic Raiment showed up. "OH MY GOD! COLOURS! and WINGS!" (yes, i'm a female player :P ) I had to HAVE those wings! I still remember the times that i was trying to figure out where the wings were coming out. "Is it the head piece, or the chest?" The answer of that question would make me save all my dkp till it drops for me. None of the items in the game made me that excited, when the wings first procced on me! My God!Well, since then i'm expecting a better looking Tier set, but nothing could beat it yet. I have to confess, i want to pull the feathers off passing by druids with T11 shoulders. Gief wings!P.S. As you might have realised, my comments are only focused on the "look" of the items, "stats" can only have priority when both of the items are ugly... ;)
I love every pve set until Tier 6, cause the next 6 sets are so ordinary. It's like they created one type of set for cloth casters, melee etc. and just changed colors. I like every T1-T6 set for being unique. When someone saw set like this you know right away that: ''that's warlock, that's rogue, that's mage''. And nowadays it's like: ''Is this a warlock, mage or priest?''.
I would have to say for my little goblin I really like the looks of Striker's Garb, especially the diadem which lets a few strings of hair through.Ffor the rest I never liked any heads, so I'm quite relieved I can disable those
Judgement Armor. No other set comes close to resembling a Paladin. Also, wtb back 8 piece sets.
