Best set so far has to be Tier 11 for mages. I love the Ragnaros head piece, and as a fire mage, I love burning down bosses in style.
I also believe that the warlock tier 5 gear is the best looking gear made thus far in the game. The set just says undead to be which i think is perfect for locks. The bad ass wings are also a definite plus.

Tier 10 was my favorite, because mages had Blood Mage gear, and Warcraft III Blood Mages were the only reason I ever rolled a Blood Elf Mage to be my main.
My Favourite is the Malefic Rainment (T6), the wings are really amazing, colours are good, but it really looks like a warlock set to me.
Priest T6 is the best looking priest set.
Paladin T6 was pretty BA...After two tiers of being mocked because of our purple plate armor (it's not a choice, they were modeled that way!) we were finally given something gold and shiny; as high-end plate armor should be. With this new armor, we were taken more seriously (if ever so slightly) and laughed at a little less. The mocking about purple armor went away, replaced by other topics, but at least it wasn't our armor anymore! Plus, we looked more like the "Warriors of the Holy Light" we are rather than "Warriors of the Holy Lavender", which was fabulous. That expansion was a growing and learning experience for our class and this armor reflected that growth; the evolution of an entire class into a proud people, fighting valiantly against the demons and undead threatening to destroy our way of life.
I loved my demonically awesome wings of doom! Malefic Raiment

For warrior I like T3/6 looks the most.
While I was initially fond of the death knight tier 7 gear, I was still overcome by my personal distaste for the lost on the cutting room floor, never made an episode, less than manly sparkly teletubby interior design power ranger set that was pally t5. NIGHTMARES, I tell you. With a great deal of personal willpower though, I managed to push forward, and happily discovered what soon became a lingering favorite, the shaman t8 set. Once I had this gear on my then relatively young enhance shaman, I have to say, the look of the gear really did give me a sense of worldbreaking, stormstriking the cosmos asunder at my whim. Even now, in the cataclysm days, I'm reminded very freshly every time I see Deathwing on my login screen, that if he were to have an army of tauren, I'm almost positive this would be the uniform of choice as they trampled a bovine swath of destruction across azeroth. Oh, if only the gear itself wouldn't leave me to be 1-shotted into oblivion, I would be going toe to toe with the denizens of the cataclysm dungeon-scapes on my path to showing deathwing what worldbreaking in style was all about. cheers!
I like the warlock teir 8 set. I think that one looks the coolest except for the arena set for season 9. Mainly because I play a lock as my main for alliance and horde.
Warlock Tier 7 (Valorous Plagueheart Garb) shall always be my favorite, as it is the first set that I was ever able to fully attain as a new and sexy raider.
I love the new T12 gear it looks UBER SICK and the bonuses are great aswell. Plus it makes it more better to PONE were ever you go in the world.
Hello, Thedudedruid here. My favorite set was definitely the Tier 3 Druid set. I know everyone likes their own class's stuff, but I must say this one is the coolest, by far. You are a masked being with golden serpents slowly getting biggest as they rise up your shoulders. And when they reach the top they fangs about to strike. It is one intimidating set of gear. The green on your gear is also so druid side: Your a being of nature, but the gear also shows your bad side as you cast a green bolt of electricity out your fingertips. The coolest set came with, hard work, determination, and a lot of raiding.
I like the rogues the best.
