I'm a fan of hunter tier 5, being that is the most sought after hunter tier gear (apart from new gear). The 2 piece bonus that lets your damage heal your pet creates the ability to solo some high end raids and instances that no other class could do by themselves.
Priest tier 6 was my favorite. To me it seemed like the first tier of priest gear that actually fit the shadow tree well. Plus the chains over the faces on the spaulders was hauntingly cool.
I never got to use any tier gear, but I did enjoy the styles of the early tiers. World of Warcraft was my very first mmorpg. My kids got me to try it, and I loved it right away. When I found my way to the vendors, I tried on every piece of gear, tier and otherwise. But I didn't understand raiding, so for a couple of years I just leveled my character, exploring Azeroth and Outland, discovering everything and every place that I could. Then I tried a pvp server, found an awesome guild....Violent Harvest....understanding guild members who took me under their wings and taught me the basics of raiding, and only razzed me about Role Playing every once in awhile. So I was happily raiding and trying my hand at pvp, when my computer got damaged. Now I play on a laptop, and on my son't computer when he's not busy using it.
It has to be warlock T5. I mean seriously how could you not like thoes: Mantle of the Corruptor . So awsome! looks like they just ducked down there head and charged a whole lot of ppl and they have been sitting there for a while :)
Season 2 set for warriors.Merciless Gladiator's Battlegear was my favorite. I was a tauren so I liked how the shoulders and the helm looked like.
Rouge Tier11. You look like a genie. And you can be a servant of Al'Akir and CALL FOR AIIID!
My favorite always was the Nightslayer set. Bloodfang armor was cool and all, and really stood out, but standing out is not very rogue-ish. At the time it was the only way to get 10 more energy OTHER than "Vigor", AND when you vanished, you got healed! It was really sleek, practically all black, except for the shoulders, face cover and some highlights in the rest of it. It was the only set that actually looked like a legit ninja...and the only one I know that has a popped collar. I'd much rather wear that than some garbage ghost with a noose around it's neck or a cosmic genie.
Rogue T2... Nothing says "Stab you in the BACK" better then Bloodfang!
Tier 6. Almost all of it seemed to just ooze 'this is about as epic as *insert class* will ever look'.
I have to say Avatar's Raiment - Priest T5. The whole "holyness" about this set is so epic. Its beautiful, gracious and humble all at the same time. I absolutely love it and imo, TBC had the best armor sets by far. I liked vanilla/WotLK sets too, but they were absolutely no match for the TBC sets. Cataclysm sets so far are quite nice, especially priests again! Epic thinking with the small "wells" on the shoulders, and the headpiece kinda covering the face of the priest, creating that humble look - love it. But in any case, my favourite is T5 and I doubt it will ever change. :)
As a hunter, definitely tier 4. It was the first one I ever got, since my guild started raiding in Kara near the very end of BC. But Tier 11 is a VERY close second, because it actually looks HUNTERY and not like plate. There is nothing "stealthily tracking prey through the wilderness" about any of the hunter tiers.I like T1 too, just because my toon has great abs... <_<
Priest T5 was my favorite, but my favorite tier all together was T3.
