Just watched
The Green Hornet
, and while the story may have had its holes and an (at least a little bit) unrealistic turn, I still enjoyed it.
Cameron Diaz is hilarious when freaking out, and Bloodnofsky was pretty amusing, aswell
While it had no impact on the story, impaling his head with those sticks was overkill in my eyes
Anyway, wasn't the Green Hornet a comic or a radio-show or something a while back? I think I recall reading/hearing it, but I might be getting it mixed up with the Green Lantern.

Comic, old TV show, radio program; but in it, the Hornet is not a complete and utter idiot like Rogan's character.

Idk why everyone rags on the green hornet so much, its not like they were ever going to turn that old thing into a serious hero movie, I thought it was great.

Saw Just Go With It and Hall Pass last night, both were okay movies and really only worth the watch to either see Brooklyn Decker in a Bikini in Just Go With It which you can already do, or Nicky Whelan topless in Hall Pass.
Jennifer Abiston >>>>>>>> Brooklyn Decker

eyes
breasts

Nah but seriously Ill agree Brook is certinly hot, but to me Aniston will always be hotter. Hot after all is in the eye of the beholder.

Right so I just watched Transformers 3 - and we all know what to expect out of those; tons and tons of mindless explosions and non-stop actions. Despite that, I kind of enjoyed the movie - the special effects were amazing, as always, that fat black guy who kept screaming during the entire assault on Chicago-Cybertron-Whatever-base was hilarious, the girl they brought in to replace Megan Fox was decent, and I even¨
sympathized with Megatron in the end - "Cybertron is saved... at last"
But then it wasn't anymore ^_^
Also, the soundtrack (Iridescent - Linkin Park) fit well into the movie, perhaps more-so than What I've Done and New Divide in the previous two.
I'll give it an 8.5 and tell you to watch it.

the girl they brought in to replace Megan Fox was decent,
What.
She makes Megan Fox look like an Oscar winning actress. :| I watched it last night too, and I'm afraid my review will be more than a little harsher than OZ's. :P
It went on for about half an hour too long, and the complete absence of plot was more prevalent in this film than the last two, mainly because there was absolutely no plot for the first hour or so, and then the introduced plot wasn't really a plot at all. Tropes time, and spoilers abound below, so look at your peril.
Ironhide
. He got curbstomped by Sentinel Prime in about
ten seconds
, and nobody seems to notice or care, even though he commanded the Autobots when Optimus died and is easily the most well armed and trained Autobot, except for maybe Optimus. Even more jarring is the fact that Optimus then owns Sentinel Prime in about a minute (granted, one of his arms gets ripped off but still; Ratchet will probably be able to reattach it anyway.
In spades.
In addition to Ironhide, Starscream and Megatron get killed off for real, probably, (I doubt Starscream can survive being blown up by a grenade).
The 'plot', if it can be called that, is again revolving around an arms race, which I'm getting sick and tired of, and in addition tacks on to the man landing on the moon incident. It wasn't even done well, like it was in
X Men: First Class
with the Cuban missile crisis.
Furthermore, the slight characterisation introduced in RotF seems to be completely absent from DotM, and there's no character development at all, for
anyone
.
The only redeeming factors were that there were a few funny moments, 'She Comes First' was priceless, for example, and that visually, it
was
stunning.
In conclusion, a tired and ill thought out action extraveganza of the franchise, worth watching if you are into a mindless, boring, dull movie with pretty flashes of light and dubsteppy sound effects. Much worse than the first two, I'd give it about a 4/10.

Starscream never dies......ever; he's been blown up, torn limb from limb, been turned into a ghost/floating disembodied spark, and has come back again and again and again...not to mention, in Transformers Animated, where he had a piece of the All Spark stuck in his skull and he died constantly: Had a pretty funny sequence where he was 'killed' by Megatron about 15 times in one episode before he finally realized something weird was going on.

And in the X Men comics, Cyclops has been killed like a bajillion times and came back, yet in the film he
dies once
gets a bridge dropped on him and that's it. :P It looks like this was being set up as a conclusion, and I really hope that it's over now, as DotM completely destroyed my interest in the Transformers films.

Actually, Cyke hasn't died all that often heh, at least compared to other characters. But if there is a fourth TF movie, Starscream will be back...he always comes back, whether it's
a million years in the past
(okay, so someone edited the video a little),
a literal ghost
(how a machine becomes a ghost I have no idea) to
many many deaths
from TFA(though he does 'die' for real when his all spark piece is torn out); so yeah, they may have 'killed' him in DotM, but he's coming back. Like Optimus dying and coming back, or Megatron dying and coming back, Starscream is a staple of the TF universe.

The difference of course being that Optimus' body was intact when he was resurrected, and in the movies I'm sure that it's only Optimus with the power to resurrect transformers. Megatron has never
actually
died, nor Starscream,until now.

In the 'new' movies; it's a pretty standard thing in the TF continuity; hell, during the 80's movie, Megatron was not only destroyed, his body was rebuilt into Galvatron, and the original Megatron still came back....and wtfpwnd the Pretender in about 10 seconds, which no one else had ever done heh. So yeah; they may be 'dead' but they'll be back in the next one....if there is one; or the bodies of them will be rebuilt into Galvatron and Scourge or something like that.

Didnt starscream die in the original movie with unicron? I know he came back in a later series as a ghost or something but idk if thats linked as cannon to the original or not, its been a whiiiiiile.
Also I do love how he does always seem to come back, I remember his spark possesed somone in beast wars even hundreds of years after all the original autobots and deceptacons were dead.

/twitch....Ryja, I linked both of those........And no: in the 80's movie, Starscream boot the nearly dead Megatron out of Astrotrain, Meg's was picked up by Unicron, who reformatted him into Galvatron, who went back and laid down a torrential ass kicking on Starscream, ending with a shot through the spark chamber, and leaving Starscream to rot....but it didn't stick, as Starscream's unending spark broke free and started haunting things. Yes, he went back to the past in Beast Wars, then when he was shot back to the present, he 'helped' the head of Unicron reach Cybertron, and in exchange for his body back, promised to hook the head into the planet so that the Big U could get a body...once restored, Starscream more or less told the dark Transformer god to F-off, transformed, and flew off laughing...and ended up back as Megatron's second again, which peeved off Shockwave and Soundwave a lot and lead to some great lines over the rest of the G1 series.

Seen the movie (Gremlins, anyone?) and I can't say they were very realistic, biologically.I wouldn't compare Critters to Gremlins....at all; mainly because the Crites were never 'cute and cuddly', and were an actual predator species, and the completely insane sub-titles aside, the Gremlins were just pure crazy and wanted to cause destruction: The Crites wanted to eat everything.
