At least it wasn't as bad as most of the CGI in Origins: Wolverine. They just slapped some MSPaint on that #$%^ because the movie had leaked so early.
Lol and aparently being shot in the head with an adamantium bullet is surgical enough to wipe all the memories of your time as a goverment assasin.
It didn't just wipe out that, it wiped out EVERYTHING. He had no clue who he was or what happened to him in the movies. If you watch Origins: Wolverine and then watch the first X-Men movie, he's clueless about who and what he is for the most part.
Also, I loved Wolverine's cameo in the new movie.
Yea but Stryker had no way of knowing that would happen that way, I mean it wipes out his memory center but dosnt touch anything els in his brain permanently?. Also an adamantium bullet cant punch through his skull anyway.

Apparently an adamantium bullet is the only thing that can pierce his adamantium skull. I've never really read the comics, but a friend of mine tells me that Wolverine is shot in the head / beheaded / etc several times in the different universes and forgets everything each time because the brain has to reconstruct itself. Makes sense to me.
There are things that can go through adamantium, Magneto can manipulate it, and Galactus can destroy it as well. But as far as I know an adamantium bullet cant peirce wolverines skull. Dakan (wolverines son) has slashed the !@#$ out of his old man with his own adamantium claws and it never cut his bones.

Wolverine has been nearly constantly mind wiped for almost 80 years; the fact that he could remember everything again was his gift from the Scarlet Witch during House of M. If the Origin movie didn't end with him losing his memories....then it would go even farther against the established canon of Wolvie.

Yea but Weapon X would wipe his memories after every mission, he didnt get shot in the head with an adamantium bullet, and the idea that Stryker would know exactly how that would effect him was stupid too, that whole movie was a joke.
EDIT: Also like you said he only got his memories back after M day when Wanda Maximof tried to give everyone tehir hearts desire. If he lost his memories from a brain injury his healing factor would fix it...

Pretty much none of the new movies are actually connected to the original universe; nearly all of them are spawns of the Ultimate one after all.

Yea but at least the rest showed a small ammount of respect for the source material, and the thinsg they did change was just to modernize the old storys or to make it more realistic, Wolverine Originas if anything was less realstic, you can tell watching it they put 0 effort into that movie.
EDIT: Lol they didnt even notice the swords comming out of
Deadpools
the guy who was supposed to be Deadpools arms were longer than the arms themselvs

As someone who only knows a very little amount about X-Men, I enjoyed Wolverine. Also, he had a hot wife ;)

As someone who is fairly well versed in X-men, I still enjoyed the Wolverine movie. He has a hot...well, him :)

Still think it's funny they have to put anyone shorter then Jackman up on blocks to keep up the illusion that Wolverine is short heh.

I personally loved First Class. But Magneto's always been one of my favorite comic book characters, and it was pretty much a movie of him being a boss, so that's probably why.
True. Except it kind of bugged me how in the beginning after the bad guy shot his mom dead right in front of him, he trashed the room with his powers and killed everyone BUT the guy who actually killed his mom. Then he just let the guy laugh and give him a little hug.
And before I get flamed again: I know this crap all follows the comic pretty much in one way or another and someone is going to come in and tell me why he couldn't kill the guy for what ever reason and blah, blah, blah. It's ok to have criticism.

I actually had this same discussion with my boyfriend on the way home from the movie. My theory is that he didn't really have any kind of control over what he was doing- he just started emitting wildly fluctuating magnetic fields. The two soldiers died because their heads were inside the helmets when they got crushed, but he crushed the bell, the filing cabinet, etc. All of the items in the other room just kind of flew around wildly- he didn't fling them at the guards or anything. I don't think he had the control to aim the objects at a certain person.
@Adam- Random fact, do you know they had to do the opposite with Jean Claude Van Damme in all of his movies? He's only like 5'3", so all his female co-stars had to walk in ditches, and they had to put him on blocks.

Wouldn't doubt that.

I would :)
He is actually around 5'9". A quick google search shows that they measured him on a T.V. show one time to put an end to that strange rumor. :)
