Character: Clayton
Location: Darkshire
Clayton stared as the others marched out of Darkshire and back into the wilderness. He was absolutely baffled that this was even happening, and worse, that he'd never get anywhere near Karazhan at this rate.
"I need that power...,"
Clayton thought, wondering if he should go so far as to try and trick them. But, he decided against that quickly, knowing that their lives aren't exactly more important than his need to accelerate his training.
As he glanced behind him, debating if he should stay or go, the guard from before was growling as he began to walk towards him.
"'Ey! Wait up!" he shouted, quickly evading the guard's path as he ran after them.

Now that he thought about it, Alex realized that it did seem like a voice was telling him. Not like he could "feel it," but like it what being whispered into his ear.
((I think I'll make myself a priest. Disc, I think. Also, CURSE YOU ALU! Got me addicted to that comic...))

Adams
Westfall
As he approached the house, Adams swore to himself, seeing that it was falling down and in disrepair. Still moving carefully, he eased out the door and looked inside. "Hello?" He called, and his voice echoed, and he waited for a few minutes before moving inside after there wasn't any answer.
Inside the house it was dark, with light coming in from the holes in the walls and the roof and there was a horrible smell. "Wonder where the...." He started to say, then tripped over something on the floor. "What?" He muttered and reached out, and put his hand in something wet and sticky and the smell got stronger.
"Need some light." He muttered and moved to one of the windows and forced open the shutters.....and promptly lost his lunch as the light from the window showed a slaughter in the house. The people of the house; a man, a woman and a child, had been gutted and left on the floor.
"Jesu Christo." Adams swore as he forced himself up, reaching to his back pack for one of his bottles of water. "Well...explains the house. Looks like they got attacked." He muttered, taking a drink then spat it out, trying to get the vomit taste out of his mouth.
As he looked around the house, he saw more evidence of what he had been thinking of being proved; he was in Azeroth somehow. "All I would need now would be for the Westfall Militia to show up and arrest me." He said and headed upstairs, intending to look around before he left.

"Questing? I know it doesn't work exactly that way, but maybe we should look for a wanted board, or something," Alec said, then heard the call behind.
"Huh?" Alec glanced at Clayton over his shoulder.
((Shadowmage/priest here, I think. Closest thing we have to a Sith.
My friend, it's the comic that made the phrase "Jar Jar, you're a genius" CREDIBLE. Need I say more?))

Glaring, Alex thrust a hand forward. A small gold screen of light formed right in front of Seth.

Clayton quickly caught up, coming to a brisk walk before traveling behind them. He shivered slightly in his thin shirt and sweat pants, feeling very awkward and vunerable at the moment.
"What's the plan now?" he asked, refraining from asking anymore since he knew he had lost the earlier arguement and didn't feel like trying again.

"I'm actually rather surprised it worked. I didn't think it would work for me in anger," Alex replied thoughtfully. "It seemed... reluctant."

Clayton saw the others didn't seem to pay much attention to him. He sighed to himself, not bothering to ask more since it was clear they were going to Stormwind afterall, and it's not like it could have gotten much more elaborate in that minute they were gone.
He glanced and saw how Alec had summoned magic, which fascinated him, wanting to know how the other had conjured such things already.
"How did you do that?" he asked curiously as he peered over.

Adams
Westfall
"Truly, I'm sorry...but I really stick out here in Earth clothes. Forgive me." Adams said as he looked through the wardrobes upstairs, and finding some clothing that whoever had killed the family had overlooked; a pair of pants, a large shirt, and a cloak with a hood. He changed quickly, and stuck his clothing into his backpack, securing it to his back and pulled the cloak on over top.
He went back down the stairs and stopped, seeing a group of staffs by the door. He looked them over, then grabbed one and took it with him as he left. He had also salvaged some supplies out of the cupboards, finding a few things that hadn't been ruined by the passing time and stuck those into his pack as well.
Adams said one more prayer before moving off quickly, going around the field and heading towards the far edge of it, intending to find a road and see which way he would need to go to find a larger town. He had a thought about heading towards Stormwind, but wasn't sure if he should stop in Elwynn or not.

Alex shrugged. "I willed it and it came? Such a horrible and generic answer, but that's the best I have."
He nodded at Seth. "Agreed."

Clayton didn't exactly buy the answer that easily. He always thought magic was supposed to be complex and very hard, not 'you can will it.' But, then again, maybe they had exceptions on parts of the rules since they were from Earth and not Azeroth...
"Hmm..," he murmured, becoming quiet as he tried to will the boulder ahead of them to go into the air before dropping. He didn't try to do much else, thinking maybe
that
was simple enough...
Or so he hoped, anyway.

"Of course," Alex said, watching Clayton. "I suspect that this is the Light, not magic. I imagine magic is harder to use."

"Look, Clayton, right? I think if you have some inherent affinity to the arcane, it's not difficult to start. Like this. Fireball!"
Another bush perished in flames thanks to Alec.

Clayton was a bit startled from the sudden light, his concentration thrown off. At that moment, the boulder he had been focusing on suddenly toppled forward, though it just rolled onto the path before splitting into two.
"Figures," he said, though he thought even though it wasn't what he wanted, it was a start. And a radically good one, considering he never tried magic before.
