So we just had a spammer in off-topic. Jajawarlocksrewl I think his name was. He posted around 20 threads, possibly more. Myself, extermianner and LookOut all reported most, if not all of his threads, which were subsequently deleted. But none of us got the silver achievement. Can anyone shed some light onto this?

Yeah, we noticed the reports.
Basically, I took the thread with the most reports, and marked that as resolved, and ignored the rest - as the issue of the user spamming was resolved. If I missed some of you... sorry, that's what happens.
Reporting every single one of them - just to farm the achievement - seems like a bit of a waste, in my opinion. We appreciate the reports, true, but if you could get 25 actions because "someone" made a spam-account... yeah, I bet you can see where that would lead.
I hope you can follow my line of thought here :)

How often are there spammer-dudes anyway?

This post was from a user who has deleted their account.

Gnub is implying that if spamming accounts lead to a ton of achievements, the amount of spammer-dudes appearing might increase. Which is a correct assumption.

Recently? Rather often, sadly.
Indeed... too bad they don't realize how little time it actually takes for us to ban them and delete every single thing they post :P
