Graphic flickering

Hey guys
So I got this new GTX 460 graphics card. Played wow smoothly for a few days then it started to flicker. Seems like a common problem since the Cata. So I switched back to my old 8800 GT card. Then my game time ran out.
So recently i got the Cata trial. I know my GTX 460 would have a lot of problem, so I switched back to my old card that I used since the first day I played WoW. All was well till the damn screen flickering came back.
Checked the official forum. Couldn't get a definite solution. Checked WoWhead's forum. Seems like there is one thread with similar problem like mine but there was no sure solution. Any of you guys know what is happening and how to fix it?

The first step in resolving any graphics-related issues is to update your graphics drivers from the manufacturer's website. Have you done at least that much?

Yes, done that. Even did a clean driver sweep before updating.

Linux? Windows?

Windows 7-32 bit.
Intel i-5 chip.
4GB RAM.
Now using 8800 GT card.
Any other information that I can provide you with?

Nope, because now I'm stumped. I figured out why my Linux machine was having flickering issues, but I've never experienced it on my Windows box.
The best I can offer you now is to click your start button in the lower left and type dxdiag into the field. Let the program generate a full report, save the text file to your desktop, then copy-paste it here. Maybe someone else will see something out of place.

I feel like pasting a wall of text of dxdiag report is very unnecessary so I uploaded the text file here:

Does it do this in other programs or games? Do you have v-sync turned on? What are your settings in WoW? Are all your Windows updates installed and up to date? Are you sure you aren't experiencing screen tearing where your monitor cannot keep up with the framerates your card is able to output? Have you tried another cable between the pc and the monitor?
I am not sure what else it could be, so Im just trying to hit all points.

V-sync is turned on. Everything else is set on good/medium except the view distance which is set on ultra. Every windows update is installed. I'm sure it is not screen tearing, my fps is at 30-60. Only have 1 cable so... no.
After trying other games, it seems like they also caused screen flicker, everything went black before recovering, but only WoW managed to get a forced blue screen then shut down then a restart. I blamed this on WoW because it first happened on it back in December with my GTX 460 card.

Well if two video cards are causing this, you have an up to date install of drivers and Windows, its a hard one to diagnose. A few other things it might be are your power supply or your motherboard. If your powersupply is getting old, it may not be able to give your video card the power its demanding, especially if its getting weak and cannot put out the amps it used to. Do you have multiple PCI-E slots on your motherboard? Have you tried putting the card in the other slot if you do? Also, you aren't overclocking your CPU or the video card are you?
Also, how warm is your computer? Are all your fans clear of dust and hair? Is the inside of your case dusty or somewhat clean? Have you tried running games with the case door off so more cool air can get in to keep your parts cool?
Its hard to tell what is going on without seeing it. If Windows and your drivers are all up to date, and its still a problem, then the next steps I would try are seeing how hot the computer is running, clean all the fans and the inside of the case. Try gaming with the case door off. If its only happening when you are in games, it sounds like the video card or CPU is possibly over heating. You can try downloading something called ATITool. Its an overclocking/monitoring software for video cards, and it allows you to see what temps you are running at, you can boost your fan speed, and you can run tests to see if its the video card thats causing you problems.
Sorry for the long post. I am no professional, I am just going on what I have experienced in the past with my computer problems. Honestly, I would completely wipe the hard drive, go with a fresh install of Windows and all the drivers, update everything including my motherboard BIOS (at least the most current stable version), and try again. Its a pain, but after all that if it still happened, it would lean me more to a hardware issue and in this case since its a problem with 2 cards, the motherboard or powersupply.

Thank you for thosenwho replied.
Is it possible for a PSU to degrade overtime? Since I am using a 550W PSU which I think is the minimum requirement. I only have 1 PCI-E slot, so can't test that. No overclocking.
Usually my PC max temp around ~50 C. Just cleaned it thoroughly last night, should be squeaky clean.
I have ran through this problem with tech support and I found that WoW failed when run in -opengl. So i believe it is a video card driver problem. Since googling did not help, anyone have any idea what is this opengl problem?

PSUs, like any machine, will degrade over time. That is not to say that your PSU is certainly the issue, but I suppose it could be. I'm not exactly a hardware buff.
While trying to get my Linux machine to run WoW, I experienced constant flickering when running the game without -opengl appended to the command line. My resolution was too high and I had to drop it (waaaaaaaay down) to stop the flicker. The whole thing is still is a mess that I haven't figured out yet.
If I can glean anything from that, it would be to check your resolution setting. Be sure your desktop is set to use its native resolution and that WoW is using the same resolution.

Sorry if this has been asked or posted (just woke up)
Have you updated your drivers?
I used to get my screen flickering black for 2 seconds all the time, then recently I updated my drivers and everything has been fine. I ran the "check for updates" from my computer, nvidia control panel but it never said I had updates. Then I went to the Nvidia site and ofc there was an update for me.
