Mangle is checked on each tick, so Rip then Mangle still gets buffed. Buffs on you are checked on application, so if you Rip with Savage Roar up, the entire Rip is different than if you do when its not up.

Bleeds are buffed when they apply but check DEbuffs each tick.

Wait, so if I Mangle then Rake, and the Mangle missed or parried, I don't have to instantly get Mangle up ASAP (unless I was going to Rip)?

Yeah, I know the importance of Mangle. It's like meat in a burger y'know.
It sometimes gets parried or missed, and I have to interrupt my rotation/priority and start over again.
I swear Feral DPS is like Snakes and Ladders sometimes.
