I always marvel at the secret language you of the UI/Macro forums... So I'll seek some clarification for my shaman totem macros...
What I currently use because I don't like cycling through the default bar.
(I omit Stoneskin, Flametongue,as they are nearly always used- at least by me)
Air Totem
#showtooltip
/use Grounding Totem
/use Wrath of Air Totem; Windfury Totem; Grounding Totem; Grounding Totem
Redundancy because I don't like seeing blank squares when I hit a modifier for the other macros
Earth Totem
#showtooltip
/use Earth Elemental Totem
/use Earthbind Totem; Stoneclaw Totem; Strength of Earth Totem; Tremor Totem
Fire Totem
#showtooltip
/use Fire Elemental Totem
/use Magma Totem; Searing Totem; Fire Elemental Totem; Fire Nova
Water Totem
#showtooltip
/use Elemental Resistance Totem
/use Healing stream totem; Mana Spring Totem; Totem of Tranquil Mind; Mana Tide Totem
This way the most often used totems that have a CD that need to be aware is always at the top for easy feedback (Fire ele is on ctrl so I can tap over to check its CD)
I was wondering though for the Water Totem Macro, if I could adjust it to be this
#showtooltip
/use Elemental Resistance Totem
/use Healing stream totem; Mana Spring Totem; Totem of Tranquil Mind; Mana Tide Totem
/click __button_frame_name__
where the " __button_frame_name__"
would have this macro placed there...
/stopmacro
/tar Mana T
/run local c=GetNumRaidMembers()>0 and "RAID" or "PARTY" SendChatMessage("Feel my Spirit Bro!",c)
/tar lasttarget
I have a feeling this isn't possible.
I was trying to figure out a way to maintain my macros to minimize actionbar clutter while still doing an announcemnet

Anything that relies on targeting a totem will fail or not behave as you expect when there are other shamans within targeting distance. However...
/run if UnitExists("target") then ___ end
That's more or less the same thing as what you wrote except it works whereas what you wrote doesn't because macro conditionals aren't parsed for the
/run
or
/script
slash commands. Put your code in where the ___ is.
Also, it's
/targetlasttarget
.
