Will GMs Enforce Player Contracts?

Let's imagine the following scenario: Player A needs some cash, quick. Player B then announces in Trade Chat (so that everyone in the channel can act as unwitting witness), in clear terms, that he will lend Player A 5000g, on the condition that after five days, Player A will repay him 7500g. Player A accepts, cash changes hands, Player B takes screenshots as evidence.
Five days later, Player A refuses to pay. Or maybe he only pays
some
of the money. Whatever it is, Player B refuses to negotiate, and creates a ticket. Thus questions arise:
a) when given the evidence, will the GM enforce the said contract between both players?
b) if "yes" to (a), how? What if Player A doesn't have enough gold to completely pay his debt, even if you strip him naked?
c) if "no", why not?
d) is "I'm RPing as a confidence trickster / shyster / deadbeat" good enough excuse? How about "let the lender beware" or "lol scrub take a deposit next time"?
e) if immediately after the loan, Player A transfers to another server, will GMs pursue him?
f) what if Player B sets an arbitrarily punishing (or unfair) repayment scheme, e.g., 500% interest?
Now, assume that instead of payment in gold, Player B says, "okay, as repayment, you will run this dungeon with me; when X drops, you will pass it and let me have it". Will this constitute a binding, enforceable contract? I know it is for
raids
, but is it also the same for a "normal" dungeon run?
Any insight into this will be appreciated.

Um, no; the GM will just shake his head at the stupidity of Player B and tell him not to do something that stupid ever again.

In the case of a server/name change a GM
might
act, depending on how mean he's feeling. It seems highly unlikely in any other case, though.

As far as I know they can help you, but I think /w will give you more of a 'secure log' than /2.

I have seen GMs act in cases of outright fraud -- i.e., you hand mats to someone for crafting and they just /cackle and fly off. I have also seen GMs step in to enforce loot rules on raids when the master looter decides to ninja everything (assuming the loot rules were spelled out in chat beforehand).
I don't know if this sort of longer-term agreement falls under their purview.

Do not give gold to random people, lesson learned.

That's like saying, "don't give mats to random enchanters"; in which case, how would they do the enchanting?
(the last time I had something enchanted though was pre-Cata, so update me if this has been changed)

You still have to trade the mats, but that has been established as something GMs enforce.

Exactly, you dont wanna give mats to random enchanters. Most smart people goto already trustful enchanters (or if youre in a good/big guild a guildie)

Yes they will it was pretty much posted and if the person agreed its like a contract and blizz will honor it one way or the other. They did with one guy in my guild.

Hmmm- if this was a real contract, that kind of interest would be totally unenforceable. 50% interest on a 5 day loan? No court in the country would enforce that- it's usury. You should have known you were getting scammed. I know it's not real money, and not subject to the same rules, but I'm not sure if they would do more than give you back the original amount you lent him. They might not do anything at all, especially if he offered to pay some of it back, and you refused.

Yep, considered scamming, just like stating loot conditions and not abiding them.
