Macaroon Actionbars and Dark Simulacrum

I have problems to use the DK ability Dark Simulacrum. Im suspecting it may have to do with me using Macaroon actionbars.
I can cast the spell to put the capture debuff on my target. But once I have captured the spell cast I cant cast it myself. (I use Dark Simulacrum a 2nd time).
If you tell me to drop Macaroon, you need to find me a bar addon that have 19 button bars configurable into 7+7+5 rows (for my Logitech G13). And sadly, making three bars to replace that 19 button bar doesnt work. When we take into account stances and forms etc, we quickly run of bars.As far as I know, Macaroon is my only choice.
Which leaves me playing my DK without Dark Simulacrum. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this? Macros? Add ons? Some nifty yet little known config option in macaroon?
Thanks!

Put it on one of your REAL actionbar buttons (ie a real ability button, ie. not on macaroon). Hide this button, next make a macro that just does a /click TheFrameNameOfTheButtonItsOn. You won't get the nifty icon changes or anything, but it will make it function.
Sadly, Dark Simulacrum is one of Blizzard's new 'morphing' abilities, and they've yet to give a proper macro syntax to handle them, so you're forced to put the spell someplace on a secure buttonid and call it remotely with /click. It's a dirty, nasty work around, but it should function.
tl;dr
Put Dark Simulacrum on a secure action button (one of the 120 default blizzard button ids)
Make a macro to click this button
Use the macro instead of the spell.

Update:
Wanderfox, I took your advice, but I just changed the state of that button in my macaroon bar from macro to spell ID. Soon after I was rewarded by seeing the green rejuvenation swirlies around my DK. = : )
As a sidenote, I used to have all my buttons set up for spellID. But for some classes, I ran out of unique IDs. I ended up with the problem that I would change one button and see that change in other buttons I dodnt want to change. Thats why I moved to a macro based states. I guess one exception wont hurt.
Are there any other morphing abilities out there? I cant think of any right now.

The ones I can think of off hand are the preists chakra spell and moonfire/sunfire.
