OP, don't sweat it, these are these people that say the Harry Potter series are satanic corruptions too.
I wonder how these people react to some of the classic Disney movies.
Oh please don't even ask. I could probably run a quick search and get some nice results for you (actually on that note there was some pretty %^&*ed up $%^& from Disney in the wayyyyyyyyy wayyyyyyy early days).

I lol'd irl at her video editing. Was the boxy fire and 70's style lightning superimposed over the video's content supposed ot make me scared?
That was one of he funniest videos I've seen in a long time. I like how she cited some crackpot website that has nothing to do with WoW as a reason that WoW is satanic.

This crap has been around ever since Dungeons and Dragons hit the scene.
Way back in the day, some kid started playing D&D and also happened to get into Satan worship. Some preacher decided
post hoc ergo propter hoc
and spread the word that "D&D promotes Satan worship". Never mind that it was only one kid out of the tens of thousands that played, who was provably unstable to begin with. As fundamentalist religion is wont to do, they latched onto this "fact" and ran with it.
This "games are evil" stuff is essentially a meme in far-right Christian circles now. WoW is just another mutation of it. Pretty much every game
ever
has been targeted by some Bible thumper at some point.
I laughed the hardest when I saw one preacher try to say Pokemon was promoting demon summoning. While at the same time, they completely glossed over Yu-Gi-Oh, a game that pretty much explicitly states "yeah, you're summoning demons". Too easy a target, I guess.
But for those here flaming religion, do understand that these people are definitely on the right fringe of their beliefs. I actually used to play a weekly D&D game with two Christians. One of them is a former WoW player (quit due to time/money constraints, not any sort of crazy like this video). Some of these people do in fact think and have very coherent arguments for their beliefs.
The one making this video does not -- this is the type that doesn't think for themselves, but simply parrots what they've been spoon-fed by their church or some religious website they've accepted as fact. They're like Rush Limbaugh fans, only with Bibles. You can try to refute them, but they have the debate skills of cinder blocks. You can see it in the comments on that video -- "la la la la la I can't hear you la la la la jesus la la la la bible verse la la la". Looking a bit deeper I can tell that this person is on the
extreme
right fringe of her religion -- there's a comment that alludes to her being in the King-James-Only camp. Those people are to Christians what conspiracy theorists are to the rest of society. Arguing here is a total waste of effort.

When will people stop worrying about a god they believe loves them unconditionally yet casts them into hell if they aren't kissing his feet 24/7? You're only going to get about 75 years on this planet, so make them count. Do for your fellow man and quit living in fear.
That is all.

I wanted to watch this. Really I did. The comments here and there paint a lively and hilarious picture. But her terribly annoying drone of a voice forced me to tune it out and then turn it off not even 30 seconds in. It's the same kind of whiny, slightly nasally voice that seasoned naggers often have that makes you want to rip out your eardrums with the nearest sharp object.
But even without watching it I'm sure it's full of the same kind of far-reaching strawman arguments indoctrinated sheople like to use. Am I in the ballpark?

Is this like the WoW version of the old "Dark Dungeons" that plagued D&D back in the days of yore?
(GM) MissFrost: Blackleaf, your DPS isn't good enough for this boss. We're booting you from the raid this week. Go read EJ and practice a bit more and we'll let you in again next week.
Blackleaf (Rogue): No! Not the raid! Not Blackleaf!
(Blackleaf's player is later found to have hanged herself out of grief for not being able to raid BWD this week and losing a chance for T11 tokens. The suicide in-game mail reads something like "Wiping the raid was my fault. I'm sorry, everyone.")
A female Undead Rogue named Blackleaf would be awesome to see. Why is she dead? Because she failed to find the trap xD

Because healing, discipline, restoration, and protection are totally satanic dogmas...
And as a Pagan, I have to pity anyone who tries to compare real faith, philosophy, and spiritualism to an obvious and brilliant work of fiction.
Blessed be, all.
