That machine will run WoW on high. Looks like a good setup.
You mentioned 'building' the computer. Are you putting it together, or will the guy at the computer store do it? Building it yourself is not hard, you just have to ensure that all your hardware are compatible with the motherboard. Essentially, just look at all the connections and slots, read the installation guides that come with the hardware and ensure that you put everything where you should.
I also recommend Windows 7. It is a great OS, much better than XP and Vista.

For one, running 8GB of RAM would cause you to run in dual-channel mode when that CPU is perfectly capable of running tri-channel 6GB and getting better performance. Step down to 3 x 2GB DIMMs and you'll save yourself a little money AND get more out of it.
Matched parts can also be a major consideration. If you're going to go with an ATi video card, consider an AMD CPU like
this one
. You'll only be able to run dual-channel RAM, but that's what you were considering doing anyway with the Intel CPU. Also, every system builder worth his or her salt will overclock that AMD CPU to 4.0GHz with a good aftermarket air cooler.
If you don't want to make a bunch of changes to the original setup, then insist on 6GB of RAM in tri-channel mode. If you decide to go with an AMD CPU, step down a bit on the motherboard and buy another video card for CrossFireX.

Most shops will build the system free provided your buying all the parts from them, so if someone is charging you to put it together, check with the shop first to see what they'll do. If you're buying it all on-line, well then there's no way around it.
The Mobo is good, lots of expansion slots and it usb 3.0. It also looks like that will be your biggest money sink. What TheRealArkayn said holds true. For this board I'd get a nVidia 480 or 580gtx, or even the 460gtx which I think is slightly cheaper and benchmarks out perform the 6850.
The tower though is garbage, I guarantee that front door will break on you within the first 6 months. Try and find something with as few movable parts on the outside as possible. At first something like that may seem a novelty, but after a little while it just becomes annoying.
