So, I've just recently leveled my Holydin alt to 85. I'm just curious as to what you all are seeing as a goal for spirit. Do I need to stack it as much as I can? Do I need to relax a bit with it? As is, I'm not quite geared for heroics yet because I'm still questing for rep and to open the rep vendors, but I'm sitting just under 1700 and with a few upgrades from quests and normals, I can easily see that number hitting 1900-2000 before stepping foot into a heroic.
Am I over doing it?

I've recently dinged 85 aswell, and with a few rep-items, some blue's from AH and quest gear i've got 1991 spirit, which feels pretty good, sitting at 2156 combat regen, but whats a good number for hc's i have no clue, have been looking for some info on that myself.. =D
I've gone by Intellect where i can, Spirit where i cant have Intellect. As long as we have replenishment i've heard Int is better, giving more mana than the same amount of spirit, but what happens when we don't have replenishment?
Thats my core reason for going for Spirit, tho i have yet to set foot in a dungeon at all from 80 to 85.

I'm pretty sure spirit will always eventually be better regen than int once fights get long enough.
On topic: I prefer to stack spirit at the expense of anything else. If I can't spam FoL and HR to keep the raid up, someone is doing something wrong, no matter what my HPS ratings look like. As such, spirit becomes an easy way to reforge into "I can do more expensive heals and less cheap heals over a fight of the same length" which is all I really need to do.

My point isn't that spamming FoL is a good idea, it's that as long as you're level 85 and not gemming spell pen, you have all the HPS you need to heal a group performing competently in any given short-term time frame (e.g., soft enrages, the one or two ticks of searing breath Atremedes gets off, etc.). The only two questions that are then left are A) how long can you extend that 'short-term' time frame and B) can you not run out of mana for an entire fight.
