What happened to Arthas's body?

I haven't been able to find or read anywhere (yet) what ultimately became of Arthas's body when he was defeated as the Lich King. A few things I have heard so far:
-He was left there to rot
-His body burned out from the unholy power and again, left to rot
-His remains are in the large Lordaeron tomb in Stormwind
-Tirion Fordring took Arthas's body and buried it somewhere afterwards to honor the ghost of King Terenas, location unknown
-His remains were secretly interred with King Terenas's remains (highly unlikely.)
Anyway....
Anyone hear or read anything as to what happened? Would like to put this mystery to rest...literally.

It's most likely still there so that every now and then Bolvar can look over at it and think 'meh, could be worse'.
It's also probably the best place for it as if cataclysm has taught us anything leaving bosses bodies lying around unguarded is a bad idea if Nefarion is anything to go by.

Given that he was, at least in one sence, a necromancer, it is possible that his body went the way of Kel'thuzad's after his demise; the necromantic magic turning against him and turning it into a pile of goo.

While we're at it, what about the shards of Frostmourne? Is the hilt on the statue in Dalaran the actual hilt or just a replica? And what about the other, lesser parts?
I feel it is a way to spawn a lot of undead-theme bosses in the future.

Why? The story of Frostmourne is over since it's been shattered and all the souls have been released.

about arthas' body, considering he was a lich (he didn't degraded to the point of other liches like araj, keltuzad, or deathwisper, but he was a lich) and that other liches when their phylactery is destroyed have their bodies vaporize (only a small orb of energy remains on the ground) it's safe to asume this would happen to arthas too.
he was a lich, frostmourne was his phylactery, and after his death his body would simply desintegrate.
As for Frostmourne, first of all, let me get it out of my chest: I'M SO GLAD that blizz didn't allowed players to get that weapon :P
now that I got that bit out of the way, I highly doubt the hilt of frostmourne in the statue on dalaran is the actual sword. Considering how dangerous that thing was, I don't think they would be so stupid as to put it on a public plaza, exposed to anyone within sight. Is more likely that the hilt of frostmourne is on the violet vault on dalaran, and as for the shards........
well Wizards aren't known for being careless, it's a safe wage that they combed ICC after the demise of the lich king to grab every single shard left, but who knows........ some shards could be left behind, we all know blizz is gonna re-use bolvar as the new lich king at some point in the future, so this missing shard could be their plot-device to do just that.
is not a matter of "if", it's a matter of "When"

Firstly, my apologies for necro'ing a thread. I haven't been on as often as I like.
But anyway, unless they lolore'd Warcraft (again), I believe Terenas' remains were disposed of by Arthas; as his remains were in an urn that was used to bring Kel'Thuzad's remains to Quel'Thalas, so KT could be brought back as a lich.
