Macro forum, help meeee~
I came here right around 4.0.1 to inquire for a macro to combine my 3 heals into one macro.
I use this macro for my paladin and priest, and intend to use it for my shaman.
#showtooltip
/cast Divine Light;Flash of Light;Holy Light
My problem, however, is that when i simply change out the names of the spells in this macro to the ones my Shaman uses, I cannot use Greater Healing Wave at all when i press the shift key. I don't see why it shouldn't work, since it's under the 255 character limit. Healing Surge and Healing Wave operate as they should, so i don't see what the problem is.
Here is the Shaman's Macro
#showtooltip
/cast Greater Healing Wave;Healing Surge;Healing Wave
I don't know what I'm doing wrong D=

/cast <spell>;<spell>;Should be the correct syntax atleast. I'm assuming you use auto-selfcast as there's no real reason not to.
Are you sure about the spelling? Are you sure there's no overlapping with keybinds for your shaman? When you press shift does the tooltip change into the correct spell? If you hold shift and click the icon, will it cast? If the latest turns out to be true, you have overlapping of keybinds.

Wiki, you're awesome. Shift-2 was bound to actionpage 2. The tooltip and icon would display correctly when i pressed shift, and the spell would cast if i clicked it.
I'm so hopeless with this stuff, thank you again.

There is no "self" command :P
Try changing it to @player and see if that gets you anywhere
That wouldn't really change anything though, now would it? All he had above was a malfunctioning parameter, so it should still work as intended until it reaches that very condition.
