True that. I have a feeling that if these changes go live, EJ will redo the stat weights towards mastery. I still don;t think crit is top. We get a bucket load from talents.

Your confusing running away with running to LoS. Very different. Being able to get behind that pillar takes the focus of us, stopping that frostbolt from casting or allowing you to find cover to hit that penance or heal, knowing your can't be interrupted.
Both work hand in hand as i know i switch from defensive of offensive every other second. It allows both mind sets depending on situation.

Mind Control now has a PvP duration of 8 seconds.
Mind Sear can now be channeled on friendly targets in addition to enemy targets. In addition, Mind Sear's damage has been increased by roughly 15%.
Prayer of Healing effectiveness has been reduced by 15%.
Discipline
Divine Aegis: Critical effects from Prayer of Healing now award a bonus amount in addition to the default, always-proc Divine Aegis effect.
In addition to Strength of Soul's existing effects, when Power Word: Shield is placed on oneself, the priest becomes immune to silence, interrupt, and dispel effects for 2/4 seconds.

Chakra
Binding Heal and Holy Word: Serenity now refresh the duration of Renew on the target, in addition to the other direct heals.
Binding Heal, Flash Heal, Greater Heal can now trigger Chakra: Serenity.
Mind Spike can now trigger Chakra: Chastise.
Circle of Healing effectiveness has been increased by 30%.
Guardian Spirit: The absorb/heal from this ability can now never exceed 200% of the maximum health of the target.
Shadow
Shadow Orbs benefit from mastery has been increased by approximately 16%

I don't really understand the need for the PoH nerf. Imo it isn't doing enough healing in it's current state. Why make it worse?
I suppose for holy the CoH buff sort of makes it acceptable.

The other issue is that if we get stunned, gouged, or anything like that when our shield goes up, we lose both our mini hand of freedom and our mini aura mastery at once. Then after that we'll be just as vulnerable to interrupts and silences as we are now.
That means the player has skill and knows about other classes. We can't be invulnerable to everything. It's a great addition when capping a flag and getting focused. Heal yourself and other your mate with a flash heal, then back to instants. It will have a lot of uses, the majority of which, you just won't notice happening.
But if you don't think it's right of course, feel free to suggest alternatives? Disc is getting such a huge amount of love for PvP at the moment, im happy to ride the wave.
Oh, and Mind sear can now be cast on friendly players. I literally cannot wait to cast this on a bubbled pally mate in the middle of everyone.

Well, you might as well throw Bindings instead of 2 flashes... But the point doesn't change, of course.
And MSing a Bubbled palladin will immediatelly make you the target, not only by your average player, but by literally anything. I'm more excited about the possibility of Stealth breaking Mind Sears... Now improved with both long and close range AE spells! In fact, this stealth scouting will be next to no other, because
your target can move searching for the stealthed player.
About the SoS change... I, for one, am extremelly excited about it. Priests always lacked (severelly) on that department - Druid healing style has lots of powerful on-demand instants, Paladins have AMastery and DShield, Shamans have both Grounding Totem and Nature's swiftness. We literally had nothing that didn't expose us horribly to cast when a sudden target switch happens. Power Word: Shield wouldn't save them, and our burst healing spell would have to suffice on Prayer of Mending or a Borrowed Time hasted Penance. Both Shiled and PoM are susceptible to dispels (PoM, arguably, may bounce before it gets dispelled, and PW:S eat a big nuke - true enough), but we had no real way to top someone safelly . Now, we finally do. And we still have to shiled ourselves to use it, not just any target shield (I would personally prefer it to work as a usable spell... but that's asking for too much :P, there's a big risk you're forcing yourself to waste a GCD on yourself to go immune, causing possible partner death. You'll have to make a careful use of this one.)
I personally love Blizz's way of buffing our survival, but not in a completelly passive way. All buffs to our survival seem to be skill based. And that's pure gold. I just don't particularly enjoy the luck-of-the-draw nature of SoS (Discipline. How Mitigation works... you'll be pre-shielding a lot, and I can sort of see SoS's interrupt/silence going to waste)... If fights last longer, however, you may just expect your buddy not to be blown up from 100 to 0 in the 15 seconds your WS takes to rebuild.
Overall, sounds like a lot of fun!

PoM has a nice increased buff to the first charge. Finally, a reason to refresh the thing.
Also, i play Battlegrounds rather than arena, i won't be the only one around to focus on, however, i really did not think of the stealth thing, that's just awesome

Do SoS and IF trigger some sort of an internal cooldown? Because 8 seconds of Silence and Interrupt immunity sounds... EXTREMELLY POWERFUL.
