You get 20 energy, your cap goes to 120. You lose 20 from your maximum (but not current) when the TF buff fades. Basically it's just more energy. Works like Last Stand, Frenzied Regen, et al. IDK how that's not good.
@LW legs ... just for completeness' sake, I suppose.

how come there is no dodge on leather items?
Dodge - Bear's second-best stat. Stack it as much as you can.
Looked up dodge rating on all quest items in cata and nothing shows for dodge.

@Thror I think armor is just that good.
http://elitistjerks.com/f73/t110351-feral_bear_cataclysm_release/
And i think there is item budget. There is Burning Crusade item budget, and there is Cataclysm item budget, which is higher than the Burning Crusade one. I also think that knowing the order in which the stats go in the stat weigh chart is better than actually using the numbers in it as canon. I also find it amusing how a mage that has not killed the Lich King on heroic difficulty, and that can generate a sufficient amount of numbers, can make people using crap enchants. I will rather use my own head too, and use things like +44 stam or +50 dodge rating.
But i guess noone would believe me when i say that using +240 armor on gloves instead of +44 sta is crap, unless i would become Sejta.

Reforging
Bears want to reforge haste first and mastery second. Primarily, you reforge to dodge, as it's our only avoidance stat.
Lol wut? Reforge mastery? You sure? Even I am unsure if I'd touch both crit and mastery on my gear. All that I'm reforging is hit/expertise and haste.
EDIT
: You could probably justify recommending reforging Haste to Mastery for Cat.
I was under the impression that cats went for haste/mastery nowadays and reforged crit. But maybe I'm still stuck in 4.0.3 in that regard :)
Here's
a spec with Primal Fury, Brutal Impact, Stampede AND Perseverance. I think the only debatable point is King of the Jungle, but by all accounts, our damage (and threat) are not a concern at the moment, so the damage boost from KotJ is still fairly unnecessary. Looking back on it, KotJ could actually be dropped into Feral Aggression instead.
May I point out that you only have 1 point in KotJ in that spec, and hence can only switch to 1/2 Feral Aggression? I personally find 1/2 to be more silly than either 0/2 or 2/2. But you can take a point out of Stampede or Endless Carnage to complete the Feral Aggression talent.

Because we share gear with Rogues and Feral DPS, who have no use for dodge. This is to keep the amount of items that bosses drop to a minimum.
That is blizzard talk and not a something that has much work or thought in it.
Look at plate. I have an 85 pally and lets see we share with dk and yet I find tons of healer stuff levelng.
SO WHY?
they don't use healer gear so there should not be any.
Reforge for int and spirit and get some healing weapon and a shield.
that is just how stupid this statement sounds.
or again just shows the lazy lack of thought and work of blizzard.
They can argue anything but making since of it is beyond stupid.

I'm seeing this recommended as well.

I might be wrong
:)

@Thror Yeah, I see what you're saying. But, math is math and as long as the simulations and math that have produced the recommendations are right, it doesn't matter if the guy/gal who generated them has never even played the game.

I have checked the armories of everyone who has posted in that thread on EJ, including the druid of the Mage OP. Noone actually uses that enchant. Those calculations are based on "how much valuable these stats are in reducing your damage taken", which obviously values Armor higher than Stamina. But the problem is, in this case, that Armor is ridiculously low, while the Stamina enchant for gloves is good. I even hate the cloak enchant we use, its crap, but hey, nothing better. In case of gloves though? Instead of using a Burning Crusade enchant that is focused on damage rediction, and that BLOWS, i would rather use a Stamina enchant. Everyone in the thread admits that stacking pure stam in Cata is not the way to do, but having a low HP pool is not desirable either.

what about
windwalk
for bears? I know the 130 agility is a lot, but 600 dodge is quite nice. I suppose it depends on proc rate/uptime, and it's a far more expensive enchant, but yeah.. just a thought.

hard to say which is strictly better....i get conflicting weights when using mew. when i use toskks formulation method it says crit > haste, but with the simulation it says haste > crit.
in either case they are very close in terms of relative stat values, but im much more comfortable reforging haste away to mastery and keeping all my crit since values are so much lower than endgame LK. especially since more crit means higher chance for bleed ticks to crit, whereas haste doesnt affect our dots.

whereas haste doesnt affect our dots.
I was also under the impression that haste caused faster ticks and at certain haste values extra ticks. At least it's like that for magic dots.

Don't think that applies to physical bleeds.

negative.
it was hinted that our DoTs would be like that...but that was far before even 4.0.3 was released. haste only increases energy regen (1% haste = 1% more energy regen) and makes our paws swing quicker. if haste increased energy regen and increased dot ticks it would have been our best stat and blizzard is trying to avoid just stacking one stat while ignoring others or w/e.
