weapon dps > agility > mastery > crit > haste > hit = exp
to maximize dps? sync up TF with rake and rip as much as possible. keep up mangle, keep up bleeds, use shred to build CP and on all clearcast procs. FB with 5 cp and time to refresh bleeds. and keep up savage roar...even tho melee is a small % of damage, gotta keep it up to truly maximize dps. keep up FFF if there's no other person to debuff armor.

I think I'm seeing double. Mastery twice?
And no haste ...

Nice post Shaqq =) If there was a +1 button, I'd push it.
I might recommend
Glyph of Berserk
over Glyph of TF, my only basis for this is this little Java app called Mew that evolved from Toskk's model telling me its better (
Link here
).
With my numbers, on a 30 second fight, Berserk is worth ~100 more DPS than TF, and on a 600 second fight ~30 more DPS. This is a pretty slight difference, I would assume if you really like the "groove" of the reduced TF cooldown, it probably won't matter much.

herp derp, 2nd mastery was supposed to be haste, things happen when posting at 3am

I thought haste was still more important than crit, like it was in 4.0.3. But hey, guess not (I'm a bear after all, not a kitty).
And if you're posting such mistakes at 3 a.m., then maybe you shouldn't post at 3 a.m.

but what else is there to do at 3am? surely not sleep...ill allow one error
im not too sure on haste and crit. i use mew for my RSV and when i use toskks formulation crit > haste, but with the sim haste > crit. in either scenario they are very close in relative value and i would probably just reforge the highest value into mastery.

using TF after one mangle will be a small waste of energy since you'll have 65, then be gaining 60 from TF ...plus unless your crit is unnaturally high, or you get super rng, TF will have faded before you can get your 5pt rip in

Another thing to note: if you're running with a bear tank, there's no need to mangle since the bear applies it. The increase in dps is a lot smaller than it used to be in early wotlk (when mangle wasn't a 1 min duration yet), but it's still there.

Yikes yea ... I remember how huge it was in Ulduar when I had a warrior applying Trauma and I didn't have to Mangle.

Back before the 1 min debuff change.
*shudder*
Yeah, indeed. Luckily, by the time all the arms warriors went fury because it showed better DPS later in the expansion, the 1 min debuff was in place!

Yeah that coincidence was serendipitous.
(I just wanted to use that word.)

The opener is more like:
FC -> FFF en route -> Mangle -> Rake -> Shred -> TF -> Ravage (Free)
And so on. The idea is to buff the Ravage with TF and yet make sure you've depleted your energy enough that TF isn't wasted.
