"Why, do we look like ones? Our image certainly needs some work in that case," Alexander laughed.
Ahanu entered his room, closed the door behind him and looked around. The room had two features that troubled him - a wide bed and a large window.
"I have a
bad
feeling about this..."

"Travelers who seek a mean of transportation. Is there any possibility I'm looking at one now? Before you ask, I am capable of paying for the ride."
"Well, she can't just slip inside again so quickly, can she?" the tauren asked the empty room, chuckling. Turning away from the window, he began to undo his armor.
"Damned if I know... Should have frozen that dwarf's heart and ended this."

"Well," Alexander said slowly.
"The shoals are coming. Tell me, how much do you earn on average on the days like these?
Gilneas would be the destination. Any port that suits you."
Ahanu stripped down to his training pants and, heavily neatly placed all his equipment in a corner, lay on the floor and proceeded to do one-handed push-ups.
Lisciel returned the look.
"He's my friend, Ashorn, but I know little about him. Nothing, in fact, about his life prior to the Argent Tournament."

Ahanu turned to train his abdominal wall - and froze for a few seconds.
"Your resolve
is
admirable."

"So let me get this straight, you risk your
life
only to have a single
intercourse
with me?" Ahanu asked in the most straightforward way he could think of.

"Tell you what..."
Alexander tapped his chin.
"I'll pay you two hundred gold, if you produce the proof of your words. How does it sound?"
"Because..."
A single drop of sweat run down his face. Whether it was because of the exercise, or because he was struggling to keep his desire under control, was left unknown.
"I have my
duty
. Not that my oaths include
celibacy
," he said too quickly to be natural, "I simply
cannot
abandon the service."

Character
: Richard Price and Gregor Killian
Location:
Deeprun Tram
Race:
Human
Classes:
Sharpshooter / Warrior
Description:
Richard, 35, serves as a guard in Stormwind city, along with his friend Gregor, 27. Richard grew up in Elwynn Forest amongst his family and friends in Goldshire. Even as a young boy, he had a great desire to enlist in the army of the Alliance. In an effort to practice, he'd sit in the limb of a tree, shooting the many critters with his BB gun. As soon as he was old enough, he enlisted in to the Stormwind Guards. Eventually he married and had a child, only for them to die when Deathwing attacked Stormwind. His mind still lingers on that day.
Richard is tall, and slender, with deep brown hair, and eyes. He wears a golden ring on his left hand, and a black leather band around his wrist, on the right hand. His gun that he carries shimmers in the daylight that has rarely been used.
Gregor on the other hand, doesn't have a care for anything in the world. His favorite word, beer, and lots of it. He spent much of his time growing up in Ironforge with the dwarves, after his parents were killed by a marauding group of troggs in Dun Morogh. Eventually moving to Stormwind to be with the rest of his race, Gregor joined the army as a warrior. He and Richard soon became friends.
Gregor is short, 5'2'', and has an estranged Dwarven dialect. He cares little for thinking, and relies on his "pure" instinct to succeed.
Richard and Gregor have been reassigned to Andorhal, to relieve the fighting soldiers there. They are en route on the Deeprun Tram, heading north. A few days beforehand, Richard received the invitation to the Killing Games.
--
Richard continued to stare at the decaying parchment he held in his hands. He kept reading the key word to himself,
"Kill. Kill. Kill."
He knew what came after killing. Death did. The horrifying thing that swallowed his family whole.
"Eh, lad? Don't ya think you've been starin' at that thing long enough yet?" Gregor questioned.
"I can't help but wonder why me, of all people, would be chosen for this sickening game, if you can even call it that."
"You of
all
people? Ya seen what's on that list old man? There are hundreds of names on that there list!"
Silence filled the car again. The clanking and rumbling of metal sounded outside. Richard knew Gregor was right. Hell, he had even heard rumors of King Varian himself had been sent an invitation. News of this so called "game" was spreading through the kingdom like wildfire. A game that was pitting the world of Azeroth against itself. And there they were, heading off to Andorhal to fight the Horde. Which was more important?
"Aye lad, snap outta it. We be approaching the Ironforge platform. Get ready to unload yer gear."

"Surely you keep record of how much you earn and spend, in some ledger. And I only need to look at three, maybe four pages describing the similar periods. Come on, you lose nothing and may have a guaranteed income!" Alexander smiled widely.
"What?"
Ahanu's lower jaw dropped.
"And how're the
other
ones going to believe you?"
