Exactly. Just because the 'air' so to speak in space is much less dense that that of earths, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Space is not a vaccuum. It can be considered close, sure. But a true vaccuum? Not quite.
I think I read somewhere that it's impossible to get a complete vacuum.
