Is it bad that I slaughtered all of Solitude and Whiterun? O.o
Depends. If you are a faithful servant of lord our Talos, but still loyal to the Empire, despite the hardships it is going through, then no. Not really.
But if you're a filthy knife-eared nazi...
Well...
I'm the one to always play the good guys, but yesterday I decided to try and pickpocket someone. I saved my game, did it, then the guy attacked me, so I killed him. Then I went on a murderous rampage and killed every last person in Whiterun, then I went to Solitude and did the same.
Oh, and I had already taken Whiterun for the Stormcloaks so...
Rebel scum! For the Emperor, thou shalt die!
ahem.
I enjoy playing the good guys, mostly because of the
Video Game Caring Potential
- it just, as trivial as it sounds, feels good to be good, especially if the reaction to your good deeds is appropriate.
Doesn't stop me from occasionally rolling a nucking futs bloodcrazed psycho, though. Especially if he swings from deadpan snarker to permarage worthy of high-ranking Khornite thirty times a day. It's hilarious, really.
Edit: On that note...
I used to be a Jedi like you, but then I took a lightsaber in my knee. And my other knee. And both arms.
General Griouvus (or however you spell his name)?

Anakin, actually.
Battle with Obiwan, both his legs are cut off at the knee, and one of his arms. And the other arm was already chopped off.
Greivous lost his whole body.

Dukuu took the first arm, if my memory serves me right

Correct. However, Greivous never was a Jedi, so it couldn't apply to him.

I loathe The Clone Wars incarnation of Grievous. He just doesn't come as very threatening with his moustache twirling style of villainy and constant failures. Hell, the only time he's ever succeeded on screen was in beating another bad guy.

It really was. They just sort of shucked him off to the side in the new ones to make way for all the new characters, and for their character development. It's not that I'm complaining about that, doing so can often gain the specific character without such a background a certain aura of mystery. Look at Asajj from Clone Wars, and her now in The Clone Wars. But Grievous is just simply too pathetic at everything he does in the new series to accomplish that. Watching him wander around, wheezing like an old man and having his ass handed to him from a little girl makes me want to throw something.
It's just infuriating to see such a watered down abomination of a perfectly menacing character.

Happens to everything but the Vong in the Star Wars universe; even during the Legacy comics, when the Vong super machine has been broken for decades, the few warriors we see still kick ass of both the Empire and the Sith forces they run into.
But yeah, look at poor Darth Maul; in his own book he's a massive bad ass, then we see what happens to him in the prequel and he shows up in a comic to try to take down Obi-Wan after getting a mechanical lower half....gives Obi a good fight, but dies again.

He might have a chance for his bad ass status to be redeemed, ironically in The Clone Wars as they have brought him into that now, apparently. I don't really watch the show but they seem to be making a big deal of it.

Ugh, really? May have a look...but don't know, since the time frame is strange to have him.
Though I admit, for a long while, I actually though Grevious was Maul lol.

They're taking a fair few liberties with canon in that show, but since according to George Lucas the movies are the only things that actually are canon I suppose we will have to wait and see.

Well, he showed up as
MechaMaul
after Revenge of the Sith and after Obi gave Luke to his brother, but still, there wasn't any mention of him till that point heh.
And just read the article itself; seems they are sorta tying it in...but at the same time ignoring it. God, I wish someone would take Star Wars out of Lucas hands.

Eh.... my problem is that he was impossible to take seriously in the cartoon.
All his rediculous movements just took away any sense of believability.... A human can't even move around like that, let along a robot.
And keep in mind Greivous is my favorite character from the movie era.

Poor Shaggy.
But yeah, that's my favorite as well.
