Easiest Spirit Beast to Tame?

I wanted to get one without the weeks of camping required. What's the easiest spirit beast to try to tame? I tried a few laps around SB every time I farm there, and some in the Storm Peaks for Skoll with no luck.

I'd say
Gondria
as it's less easy to spot and less crowded than other places. The bear is way too easy to kill as it's near a quest-hub and has 1 spawn point only... so it's harder to find alive. Loque is very elusive but -in my opinion- well worth the hunting/camping.

You dont need weeks of camping. You need commitment. You can't just hope here and there. You have to be continously be there until it spawn.

Yes, I agree on that. Running around wont help, as well as popping-in from time to time. To get Loque I just left the game running all the time during daytime (in windowed mode) and set the window to less than 640x480, pointing where I knew he
could
spawn (I was camping the gorillas area). That way I could do my stuff and easily check the place without losing too much time.
This beast has more than one spawning point all around Sholazar but I was lucky and it re-spawned pretty soon exacyly where I was... only the 2nd day I camped him.
I know horrible tales of players who did not manage to see Loque (neither alive or dead) since WOTLK was launched. Like anything else in this game, the rng factor has a huge role.
Of course camping 1 spawn point is MUCH better than 7-8 in a zone where Horde/Alliance share quests and kills (Sholazar), that's why I suggested Gondria.
Taming these animals is more than camping. It's deep dedication. Or just awesome luck.

I have seen Arcturis 6 times. 2x killed by me, 1x tamed by me, 1x stolen from me, 2x given to guildies, Tamed him a long time ago and ended up releasing him. He's a nice pet, we just didn't click. For him there is generally lots of campers because there is only one spot. You may end up making friends with the other hunters, or they might kill him if he spawns and you tag and tame first, so be careful.
I have seen Loque 5 times in the last month. 3x tamed by me, 1x given to guildy, 1x killed by me. He definitely has more people camping him than the bear, but luckily I never did have to camp. The first time I found him was in mid-day on my realm when I was camping Aotona, and I tamed him for a little bit before abandoning him. All the other times have been when I log on around 7 in the morning before school and do a flyby.
I have seen Gondria 6 times. 2x tamed by me, 3x tamed by friends, 1x killed by someone else. She is generally easier to find because of the simple fact that Zul'drak is basically abandoned. Her spawn points are relatively close together, and she sticks out like a sore thumb on the mini-map (a yellow in a sea of reds). I've never camped for her, only done a flyby every now and then and shes almost always up for some reason.
I have seen Skoll once, when he was tamed by me. He is by far the most difficult spirit beast to get. His spawn points are far enough away that if you do a loop, he could have been tamed at another spot and gone before you even get back. Also the fact that his spawn points are all around the TLPD's path, many people camping for the drake will kill Skoll if they see him. I got lucky with mine, he was up around 8pm realm time and I checked right before a raid, a human dk was standing next to him. I started taming and was really worried the human was going to kill him while I was taming, but he didn't.
In general, just expect griefers. Many people are not nice in this game, and if they see you taming a rarespawn that they wanted they may kill it which is the worst you can do. You have turned a potential friend into an enemy (even if they are opposite factions, you can make friends on both sides while camping), and now there is still one more hunter looking for the pet. Whatever you do, don't kill a rarespawn or try to steal some ones tame. Try to advertise in general chat, asking for information on last spawns and sightings, and offer gold to anyone who helps you get a successful tame. Just make a macro and hit it every few minutes; money talks to people and you can meet other hunters camping rares as well and form a team.
And don't give up! I could be months before you see your spirit beast because a lot of it is luck and dedication like others have said. If you really want it, just keep camping. They will show up eventually. :)
Good luck in your spirit beast hunt, sorry for such a long post but based on mine (and others) I hope you can decide who to go for first!

Have Skoll and bear. Skoll i used to leave my druid there since only druid had epic flying and every now and then log my druid and go to the 3 places Skoll can spawn. Eventually i found him but i must say my heart was beating so hard during the time i logged my hunter and went over there... was desperately hoping someone else wouldnt tame him or kill him but i got lucky :D
As for the bear i posted my hunter in the spawn point and do heroics. At 1 time when i came out of a heroic there he was - presto :)

I have Loq and I may have been just lucky but I happened across it one day picking herbs. Had time to fly back to Org respec and come back to tame it. I've happened across it 3 more times since. So i don't know how rare that one actually is.

This. I'm proud of the Loque'nahak I tamed =P.
Edit: I would like to add way too many people camp Skoll.

I guess you're a (lucky) exception in the world of hunters... Maybe your realm has a medium-low population too? That would help a lot. If not, you've been just amazingly lucky. But in general, players spend a lot... a lot of time hunting Loque.

I found Gondria by accident while going out of my way to get some Zul'Drak herbs.
Quickly dismounted, changed to BM then I was out of mana, and I had no mana juice.
Jumped into viper, fiddled around with action bars and was hoping nobody would gank me or kill/tame her while I was getting ready.
I named her 'Biscuit'.

I lol at ppl that camp for spirit beasts to be honest. I understand...I guess...but it just isn't worth that much to me.
I found Loque (renamed Mooney) on a random pass over shola.

Just so I know, these guys have special talents, right? Like the Devilsaur does? Petopia is surprisingly short on information on the spirit beasts. I'm not fond of the cats which is why I was after the bear. Anyone have linkages to more info?
Mania was gone for quite a while due to real life things, so the site wasn't updated for a while. Now it's entirely up to date. Spirit beasts get another ability called Spirit Mend, which is a small HoT spell. They also get the same roar that cats give (+Agi & Str) and Stealth.
Here
is the new Spirit Beast page on Petopia with the new spells at the top.

The game is filled with useless and time-wasting things. People can spend 10K+ gold for a
pet
, for example, or 15K+ for a
mount
. Some players spend gold, others just sit and relax, waiting for a rare pet spawn. I personally think that Loque is the most amazing pet in the game (in terms of 3d model, animations, coolness and whatnot). I tamed him when it was a crappy pet for hunters... I'm glad it's now a viable pet.

Gondria. Though I got Loque without even looking. Arcturus is camped daily. Skoll is fairly easy too.
