Tourists in Acherus?

I just realized something on my flight path:
With the introduction of Azerothian Navigation in Cata, does this mean that our beloved ziggurat in the sky will be able to be visited by other classes?
As far as I'm aware, the only way into or out of Acherus is Death Gate and Flight Paths, both methods only usable by Death Knights. However, without the invisible strings guiding flying, is it conceivable that some other classes can get up there?
What implications are there for those that would defile our unholy home away from home?

Wasn't there something about this already, and the place is phased or something?
If not, What implications are there for those that would defile our unholy home away from home?
They'll just be slower walking in there than all the DKs.

There was a whole thread about this another time, and it boiled down to:
Acherus is instanced.

That makes no sense though.
When you take a flightpath from Acherus, you don't see a loading screen. So really I think that it's phased, and even if a non-DK got up there (and if it's not a no-fly zone), it would be empty.

Think of it like the quest lines fo Shadow Vault in Icecrown or Sons of Hodir in Stormy Peaks, if you havn't completed those quest lines to the right point, you can't access those areas. It's the same with Acherus but only DK's can get the quest line for it.

There was a whole thread about that, and it was full of BS. Acherus is not instanced, and i did say it in that thread. When you enter or exit an instance, there is a loading screen. In no way in World of Warcraft are there instances that you can enter seamlessly from the exterior world. There is NO loading screen when you exit Acherus by flight path. Compare it to Ghostlands -> EPL. Ghostlands + Silvermoon
are
instanced, and there is a goddamn portal in the middle of the flight path, with a loading screen. Azuremyst Isles and Bloodmyst Isles are also instanced currently. If you swim(fly) west from Kalimdor (in the current world), you never find them. They are not on the world map. Teldrassil is not instanced. You can theoretically swim to it.
Also the "Acherus is instanced" crap was stated like, in patch 2.4.3, and people just kept quoting that crap in the entire thread.

How do you defile acherus? i'm sorry but who the hell cares and why does it matter. Even if it is reachable what are they gonna do? the place is a neutral area. It's like trying to defile dalaran...

They probably meant phased. Like in Icecrown, if you're not at the same stage of the quest line you and your friend could be standing at the exact same spot, you still wouldn't see each other. Even though there's never a loading screen when you enter Icecrown.
So perhaps DKs would see everything as we see it now, but everyone else that enters would just see the building but not any of the NPCs or other players.

Acherus is neither instanced nor phased, thanks to a bug that lets Druids in Flight Form fly in Azeroth, this is easily tested, and I've met a few flying Druids in there already.
It's not
currently
phased. Keep in mind the flight form bug is just that, a bug, and obviously not an intentional gameplay mechanic.
I would love to hear from someone in Cata that has tried this. Of course, it's really not that important to me so I'm not going to press the issue.

I still would like to get a mailbox in Acherus.
A mailbox? I wanted a sauna.

And while they're at it a few enslaved hotties managing it (cause they're better alive than raised from the dead Ala-DK).
I still would like to get a mailbox in Acherus.

Thai twingirls... ^_^
That would be acceptable.
Hear hear!
