I've used my Naga since just before Christmas (my birthday), and I feel completely gimped when I don't have it. I carry it with me to uni just in case I find some WoW time. :C It takes 4 days, TOPS, to get used to the mouse, and this is from a guy who previously didn't use keybinds other than 1-6, and keyboard moved (I do mouse turn)(So read, a bad).

I can't imagine playing without my Naga. The majority of the time my keyboard is used for movement and the Naga for everything else. Bind your action bar scrolling to the scrollwheel and and your thumb does the rest. Notice the Naga has 12 thumb buttons lined up nicely.... coincidence?

Using a Naga my self and its great so i decided to take it up a notch and got myself the n52te by Belkin but designed by Razer and between the 2 i have too many buttons to keybind with even without using shift or alt.
if you are willing to put up the $ for a good mouse the Naga is the way to go.

I use the Razer DeathAdder and I love it. I was going to buy the Naga, but I wasn't sure if I would really use all those side buttons, or how easy it would be to use, so I went with the DeathAdder instead. It has two buttons on the side, which I do use, so maybe the Naga would've been better in hindsight, but oh well... I love my DeathAdder and it looks sexy too... the blue glowing wheel and Razer logo =D

It's easy to learn, and it also has the blue glow on the scroll wheel, logo, and all those numbers on the side. :D Totally worth it if you have the cash to drop.

I'll go against the grain and say that I'm not a huge fan of the Naga. Don't get me wrong, it's absolutely a great quality mouse - it just wasn't for me. I didn't have a problem making the transition over to the buttons on the side, but it just left me feeling sort of disconnected from the game. I also had a hard time reaching the numbers further back on the mouse (nearest the palm), but that may be because I have fairly small hands.
I actually felt kind of guilty at the time for not enjoying it more, but ultimately I returned it and picked up the Logitech G500 instead. Couldn't be happier with the choice I made. (Of course I'm still bitter than my old Razer finally bit the dust... after a good 3 or 4 years of use. Razer makes good stuff.)

I also got a Naga and returned it. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great mouse, but it just didn't work for me. I always put a lot of pressure on the sides of my mouse when I play, and my thumb kept on pressing the side buttons when I didn't want to. I've been using a Death Adder for years and I love it, but have recently gotten an R.A.T. 7. Still getting used to it, but feels quite nice.

Naga software is easy, and also completely optional. You can do all your keybindings in WoW, I use bartender 4. I only use the software to turn the lighting on or off.

This is the boat I'm in. I tend to squeeze down on my mouse a little, so I'd just be hitting buttons all the time. That's why I picked up a Lachesis - upgraded movement, but not a bunch of extra buttons.
Based on what I've seen, however, if the buttons work for you, the Naga seems like a fantastic mouse.

The lag isn't even the serious part. The fact that the wireless mouse could die at any moment is the big downer for those things. If you lose track of time on a gaming binge and suddenly find yourself with no mouse power...
