By rolling worgen / I have now joined Team Jacob / I feel so dirty… (AegisBWR)
The only word in this sentence that makes this "WoW" themed is the word "worgen". How are ones like this getting in over ones that are truly WoW-themed?
Oh, I see. Because they said "Team Jacob" - must have some Twilight groupies on the deciding committee... :P
Honestly, the contest shouldn't be giving out keys to the ones voted on by the ones PICKED by someone else out of hundreds of submissions. The contest should be random to those who validly enter (with real, WoW-themed haikus, with valid 5/7/5) across all entries. Otherwise there is definitely some bias involved. Just playing devil's advocate here, to be fair.
My entry was this:
Tauren paladins?
Yes, that's what I said, Taurens!
"Holy" cow! *WAR STOMP*
Mildly clever and humorous and Cataclysm related! :P

Eh, another day of not great haikus. I did like a couple of them though. Anubee's was actually a real haiku, not a sentence broken into three parts, and I liked it a lot, but I voted for Inthine's cause it made me chuckle.
And I'm proud to say that I didn't bother counting syllables. It only leads to annoyance and bitter squabbling, so it's better to just assume that they're all legit instead of whining and debating syllable counts.
