"Been there, done that." Phillip nodded. "Not fun to put them back down..." He began to walk, making his way through the desert... if one could even call it that. "Near as I can tell; we're either heading to Thunder Axe Fortress... where it used to be anyway... or underneath it, in Maraudon..."

Alpha laughed as well. "Far be it from me to stop you," he said, and continued northward.

"Yuck, Maraudon. Too much lifeforce concentrated in one place, if you ask me. Makes you wonder what happened to the place after princess Threesome or whatever fatso's name was was killed," Corvus shuddered factitiously.

"Then I might as well introduce myself to those of your companions who don't know me," the druid said, shifting into his worgen form.
"Duskhide."

Phillip shrugged. "I heard the centaurs still consider it just as sacred... seems like a good place to hide something..." He nodded. "I mean, how many people are willing to fight through hordes of horsemen?"

"Pftt, lambs to the slaughter," Corvus shrugged as well, "Unless they've suddenly became smarter and more organized, at least."

"This is Fang and Claw," Alpha said, pointing to each respectively. "Two other worgen that share my views." Alpha was also appreciative of Duskhide taking on his worgen form for traveling with them, it would keep Alpha from appearing a hypocrite and add some credibility to his words. "Let us be off then, we have a lot of distance to cover."

"I dare say, I doubt that would even make a difference..." Phillip commented, smiling darkly as he headed for the valley of spears.

With a loud screech a large buzzard dived on Corvus, who caught it by the beak just in time to yell, "Look out!" as he saw two more birds going for Phillip.

Duskhide nodded at the other two, the old worgen's nostrils flaring as he took his time to memorize their scent. The hint of appreciation in scent coming from Alpha did not escape his attention, and he thought he understood just what that meant. He then dropped to all fours and looked expectantly at Alpha.

Phillip reared his hand back, a shadowfrost lance forming and rocketing forward. He opened his hand suddenly, letting a frostbolt fly at the other bird.

"More are coming," Corvus scowled somewhat mechanically, hurtling the buzzard into the bird's nearest ally, sending the two flying away while spinning on great speed.
"And I've got a feeling they're just the beginning," he added, briefly noticing a ring around a particularly large buzzard's foot.

After all these years it was still nice to run, and - for now - Duskhide was easily keeping up with the youngsters, covering great distance with large strides. Of course, he would not be able to keep it up twenty four hours a day like several decades before, but then again, Pyrewood was not that far away. In any case, last thing the old druid would do was showing the kids that the ages took their toll on him.

Phillip sighed. "I really don't feel like fighting birds all day..." He muttered, conjuring a large chunck of meat and hurling it straight at one of the buzzards; knocking it out of the sky. He created another and threw it at a different bird.

Several spears, lightning bolts and nets came flying at the duo.
"Speak of the grell," uttered Corvus, grabbing another buzzard and putting it in harm's way.

Phillip seemed to melt away, reforming out of the barrage. He held up his hand, unleashing a volley of shadowfrost bolts. In his other hand, an ice sword formed.

Corvus grabbed a particularly large spear, muttering, "This will do nicely."
He wanted to charge in the general direction of where the projectiles were coming before quickly realizing that that would mean charging at half the horizon at once. Shrugging and putting on his cheerfullest smile, he began spinning the crude weapon in front of him, advancing onto the ranks of centaurs.
The half-sentients split in half and attempted to outflank Phillip and Corvus.

Phillip continued to advance; creating a wall of ice behind Crovus and himself to protect them. He pointed at one of the centaurs; dousing with a ridiculous amount of wine until the horse-man simple fell over drunk.

"Luckily for you, I don't have working bloodstream to enjoy wine to its fullest. Still, my taste buds are functional, so - why oh dear gods why?" Corvus's laugh boomed across the Desolace as he cut the centaurs down one by down - slower than Phillip with the mage's arcane powers and whatnot, but still without receiving a scratch.
That is, until a powerful wave of telekinetic energy sent him flying right into Iceheart.

"I dunno, let's just hope it's their weather-woman... calf... to pick up something beyond her comprehension," Corvus replied. Getting to his feet. He would say something else had not their adversaries begun raising massive clouds of dust and sending them into their faces. Scowling, the Darkbone Praetorian began making his way towards the mysterious caster.
