I see how it went from people hating garrosh, and all it took was one fanboy story and suddenly everyone likes him.
I have yet to see someone saying something along the lines of "I hated Garrosh but now, after reading Heart of War, I think he is the best character of WoW".

well, after completing a specific quest in ashenvale, I think we can 100% rule out the "garrosh will turn the horde into fel orcs again" thingie.
to give the basic run-down: Splintertree post is under siege, a specific female orc (named Agraa xD; lol blizz is running out of names for female orcs) gives you a canister and orders you to recolect fel fire to use against the night elves sieging the base.
you do so, and she has you turning that thing to an orc warlock inside the mine of splintertree, this warlock devises a way to turn it into projectiles that can be fired from the catapult Agraa is riding.
using these fel fire bombs the siege is ended, but at what cost? they used demon magic, something that is strictly forbidden by the horde. Agraa writes an apology letter to hellscream in the hopes that once he sees how usefull those fel fire bombs were, he would condone their use, but SURPRISE!.
Garrosh gets pissed (no that's not a surprise, he's allways pissed) about orcs using fel magic, he says that regardless of how efective it is, it creates a dependancy, and that dependancy is a weakness, a weakness that made the orcs slaves for well over 60 years, and he will KILL everyone who openly uses fel power.
he suspects that Agraa didn't came up with the plan to use fel fire by herself, but rather, someone else manipulated her into thinking it was a good idea, you have to get the head of that someone. After returning to the orc warlock, he says that you've outlived your purpose and then reveals his true form, turns out he's a demon in disguise XD.
Moral of the story: Garrosh thinks fel power sucks, and there is no excuse to use it, those who do, will be beheaded. No exeptions.
gotta say, I'm relieved to see that no fel orc will touch my beloved horde.

You confuse your references. She's not named after Thrall's current ho (NO I DO NOT LIKE AGGRA HOW CAN YOU TELL)Hey! What'ya got against Aggra (apart from the fact that she's a designated love interest, was apparently created specifically for the purpose of sinking a fan-preferred 'ship, and possibly has a bad and borderline sexist joke for a name, of course)? You know they could still end up writing her like Dhalua Strong with tusks, right?

Mostly because she was created specifically to have Thrall be with someone of his race. I didn't care about the Thrall/Jaina ship more than as a joke, but was it really necessary to have Thrall not be a (non-swinging) bachelor anymore?I'd say that goes in with "designated love interest" and "deliberate ship-sink."
Which probably means Varian will hook up with Jaina if that's not already done, and we'll have a WONDERFUL (read : awful) story on how one side wants Jaina and the other is still pining for his dead wife. Yes, I'm cynical.Ew. You're right, there is that. (In the meanwhile, I'm sure a lot of people's one true pairing has become a one true
triad
.)
Seriously, "could" end up writing, when it comes to Blizzard, generally means "We didn't think of it this way and honestly, that's not gonna happen."Yeah, they
are
admittedly kind of bad overall at writing female characters.

Read most of the thread and there's something that really irritates me, the hate for what the forsaken are doing. They're raising new forsaken because that is the ONLY way to bolster their numbers, since arthas is dead, and the corpses pre cata are from all the way back from the first plague, thus, they have to increase their numbers by the only way they can, by using the valkyr to raise new forsaken. They can't birth children, remember?
On that note, can I please go castrate every single orc to level the playing field?

I cannot say I love Garrosh nor do I hate him, For the simple reasons of the fact he put the WAR. In Warcraft. (Literally) With all the factions despising Garr, They began to advance and gain ground I mean, Its a shame that the Tauren got the end of the chain. But look at the Forsaken and the Trolls. The Forsaken could never advance untill now. (With the fall of the lich king ofc.) And look at the trolls, Voljin hates Garr with a bitter passion and he went off and reclaimed the Echo Isles. (I can't say anything about the Blood Elves TBH.) All WOTLK and TBC was considered World of Peacecraft. As you look..All the factions were allying together under one banner to stop one person. And this same problem happened in WOTLK every faction banded together to down the Lich King. Now after Illidan and the LK are dead (Lorewise) We all go back to fighting each other. So I give my thanks to Garr and I also give him my personal hate for making the horde politically unstable. Some one scream were all doomed?

So... you're saying that TBC and Wrath were World of Peacecraft? Did you perhaps not realize that they Horde/Alliance weren't banding together to stop one person. They were banding together to stop an invasion of demons into Azeroth and other planets, with Outland (because of all it's portals) being a staging field, and to stop a zombie apocalypse? With viking giants on the side of the zombies?
Sounds like War to me.
