Except he set a Saurfang example in the after math of the Stonetalon event: You do something against the rules of the Horde/the Warchief and you die for it... just like Saurfang threatened to do to Garrosh if he ever followed the dark path.

Not really. Infact all he did, like I say, as order his orcs to take stonetalon for the horde, knowing it would kill anyone in there way, and then he simple copies what Saurfang said to him in a poorly rendered moment, showing he caused that crap to happen, but wouldn't stand accountable for it.
Saurfang didn't actully teach him what needed to be taught, if that was so, he wouldn't have ordered the attack on stonetalon in the first place.
Plus, his message he first breathed out in pre wotlk about how the entire world should belong to the horde, has carried on though to cata too.
Basicly, people are fooled by his random acts of preacher holiness, just so he can then go and act like an asshat the next scene over.

Meh whatever, Garrosh could save an orphanage full of children or even Thrall himself and you'd still bash him... so yeah.

Garrosh would probably mount the orphan matron, claiming her as his property, and kill the children so he could breed his own.
so yeah.

Id suggest not responding to Tauren, he just wants to be the first to get a sticky locked for a flame war.

Oh well I'm sorry I don't see Garrosh the same way as everyone else who fell for the badly drawn out retcon he is. I guess all I want to do is pull apart threads with an objective opinion of something instead of conforming to it like everyone else.
He gave out the order to conquer Stonetalon, not blow it up.
Garrosh wants to conquer the world. He's made that 100% clear. To conquer, anyone knows you end up killing to control land, because it won't just be given to you. And Garrosh, just like his father, wants to kill.
So, because one of his commander finds another way to kill those in stonetalon in there way, its less honorable then just walking into a place a killing all those with axes and swords?

You want ass kissers, go back to the Regular Forums, get off of Wowhead, because most of us are tired of your crying, whining and complaining. You hate the direction of the game, go find a private server that's locked to Vanilla, and sit in Thrall's throne room all day on your knees.
Edit: I know this post will be deleted, and I'm fine with that.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Gnub##DELIM##Would be easy to delete it, and just pretend it didn't happen, now wouldn't it? :P
Good thing the heated discussion seemed to end after this. It's probably good to let this post stay as well.

Yes, to conquer you kill. That cannot be denied. But Garrosh did state he believes in HONORABLE combat.
The problem with characters like Grom and Garrosh, is they preach about honor one minute, and forsake it the next, like giving into bloodlust and loving it when there killing.
The thing with Garrosh, and blizzards design, was to have a character who was basicly just like Grom, and to see what would happen if someone like Grom was leading the horde, the result, of course, is nothing short of bloodlust and constant warring.
This I say again, is why Rexxar left the horde in beyond the dark portal. It wasn't until he saw the orcs actully did regain there honor and freedom from there bloodlust did he return to it.
Edit. btw Adams, I really don't care what you think of me, I'm actully staying in the grounds of this threads context, so like my opinion or don't, at least I hold that.

An example of some dishonorable things Garrosh has done would be nice.
By the way, Thrall sort of gives in to his rage sometimes as well... Goblin starting area being one example. After being freed from his captors, he sends a storm with the purpose of killing as many of them as possible. (and he actually says "Slay them all!")

Exactly, and I use this to the example that Thrall isn't the weakling some lore fools claim he is.
Thrall, in the greater sense of all things, is a defender of his people and his world, but you push a defender enough times and he stops taking crap from you and pushes back.
Anyway, the alliance were idiots then, Thrall had to reach the maelstrom before it was to late, and they stopped him, he really had no choice but to be rid of them.

Thrall could have asked Water to just beach the ships somewhere far away, instead of destroying them.

Not my interpretation of the scene. "If you forsake honor for the sake of power, you die." That's what we're supposed to be taking away from it, not "Disobey and die."
Heh, that too.

Tauren's thought pattern :
1) Is it a Horde-allied orc/tauren/darkspear troll (perhaps)?
If yes, go to 2)
If no, it deserves to die.
2) Is it Garrosh Hellscream or someone who supports him?
If yes, it deserves to die.
If no, go to 3)
3) Is it a Grimtotem Tauren?
If yes, kill it with fire.
If no, go to 4)
4) Has it remotely done anything to damage my view of the Horde?
If yes, it deserves to die.
If no, congratulations! I have found a proper good NPC!
Win.
