I don't understand what makes people think the entire WoW community is going to mourn their loss if they stop playing. Nobody cares what kind of lame sob story you have to share about how WoW ruined your life or ruined your marriage/grades/whatever. Don't try and blame the game for issues like these, because you know who's fault it is? Yours. Not Blizzards, not Ghostcrawlers, yours.
Within the past week there must have been nearly a dozen threads with people whining and crying about how it has gotten "boring" or "after 5 years..." or "Warning: Don't let this happen to you", etc.
Whatever reason you have to not play anymore, great. Good for you. Please take your issues elsewhere, as we are not your counselor.

Heres a question for ya.
Why do you feel the need and urge to bash on those players and create a forum thread about it?
Could you not have just kept it to yourself?
Same logic applies to your hypocrisy mate :)
Wrong. If that's the way you want to play it, then the same logic could be applied to every thread on these forums. We could all just "keep it to ourselves".

So then the convoluted logic is to let people start what ever thread they want and read them if you choose too and chime in if you want to. Ugh ..all this logic is hurting my head.

Ask Maul. :)
(He maintained a number of well-loved addons.)
Really, it's not that we expect most people to care, although some people might. I have a fair number of WoW friends who rely on me for instant queues. :) Mostly, it's just sort of a sanity check for how serious something is.
From my point of view, this makes it time to wind down my auction empires -- stop buying new stuff, just keep listing old stuff -- and probably cancel my recurring billing.

You pretty much just confirmed his point. For further argument, please refer to peekatyou's post.
