Meh you do stuff like that too, before me actually. well before me... and more often. If your gonna dish your gonna take it. the thing is, I am generally able to support my ad hominem when i do use it
support: something you rarely (read: never) have
were not particularly arguing... wowhead just has no PM system =/ we were arguing, then you conveniently "forgot" about the thread
(and apparently that hiatus dismisses you from the need to support your failing arguments)
*continues contributing more than the vast majority of posters in this thread*

What? I give evidence whenever it is possible. Sometimes anecdotal, sometimes situational, but atleast I back up arguments instead of using your tactic of... "Try every way you can to make this guy look like an idiot, so people don't actually realize my argument has vast holes in it."
see above: tactic of "making erroneous claims in hopes that no one will take the time to investigate them"
we were
arguing
debating i was curious about this, in risking a semantics discussion, for all intents and purposes debating = arguing
if you are debating, you are arguing
I'm not going to apologize for having to work, and having a family the point (that you missed or dodged, I can't even tell anymore) is that your post history proves that neither of these things have had an effect on your ability to continue to post
obvious cop out is still painfully obvious
o.o Looking at your post history, you play a rogue (I had a feeling....), Easily rogues are the best class for torrent.
you could just as easily make that argument for warriors, pallies, shamans, druids, and deathknights
(in reality you could just as easily make that argument for any class/spec, since you gave 0 support for your claim)
So your already biased. any biases I may have are irrelevant in an argument of logic
all my points still stand regardless of them
On every caster dps class, a free trinket is going to be better that may be true but
1) rogues arent the only melee
2) beserking, WotF, warstomp, EA, shadowmeld, are all still arguably better than EmfH
Melee dps... Rogues torrent is probably better. Warriors can't have torrent. Ferals can't have torrent Enh can't have torrent. So that only leaves pally's and dks... availability of racial has nothing to do with how powerful it is
Prot, however, I think EMFH would be better since they also get an interrupt in the form of AS. by this logic then rogues
can't
be the class that torrent benefits the most
Edit: Since apparently I have to tell you when I'm leaving, or get flamed when I get back, going on vacation for a long weekend... see ya tuesday.
good thing you never actually left though
Im pretty sure thats the point i was trying to make

I have supported my claims, you just refuse to believe any evidence, and dodge any undeniable evidence I've given. You've made this claim before, and each time I challenge you to support it, you ignore (read: dodge) it.
I wasn't trying to risk a semantics discussion. I always think of arguing as "I'm going to punch you through the internet" while debating is at least somewhat restrained. For instance, if you get into a bar fight where your screaming at the other guy... you won't tell the cops you guys were debating. You may think differently though I guess.
the incorrect meaning you've come up with for a word has no bearing on what it actually means
There is a difference between small posts and long posts. Posts on this thread were taking me about two hours to read, comprehend, write, and check. Time that I did not have. The posts I had made only at maximum took me 5 minutes. After being unable to post for a week or so... I forgot. its not like you were popping in now and then for a couple of posts, during your "hiatus" you kept up an average of over 5 posts a day, on a few of which you posted over 10 times (see: plenty of time to respond to me if you so chose) and don't start arguing the whole "I forgot" angle again, you were posting in the thread for over a week, maintained regular visits to the forum for 2 weeks, and during that time, the thread didnt drop from the top half of the first page once.
Goshad is coming from the POV of a rogue,
where Arcane Torrent is, quite frankly, amazing
. I would wager it to be equal to, or at least slightly better than, EMFH
at least for rogues
another posters unbacked opinion, regardless of how true it may or may not be, doesnt support your claim
you are just quoting another similar claim
Rogues, 1v1, rely on their long chains of cc's/stuns/interrupts. you are trying to tack on extra CC that is irrelevant to the cc chain that we do rely on
our CC chain that we rely on is an initial CS+KS, thats it
case in point:
any rogue doing this-
CS KS dismantle evasion. CS KS cloak kick. even a noticeable amount of the time, is doing it wrong
Anything you can add on to that chain will greatly increase chances of winning. unless that thing you are adding is a vital, long cd ability that is much better used in one of the situations I mentioned previously in the thread, in which case, you are hurting your chances of winning by burning it early
its often said in arenas, the players forced to burn their CDs first lose, and there is
alot
of truth to that
This is an argument of preferences/opinions. Whether or not EMFH is better then torrent is an opinion, not logic. except for the fact that you opinion of it,
should
come from whether or not its a logical decision, not from a predisposed opinion
zerking may work well in certain burst comps if you are a caster. heres another thing: that isn't the only useful scenario/comp where zerker excels, not at all
WotF is only usable against 3 classes, it can be useful against those classes two of which are by far the two most popular classes to play in arenas
together, making up almost 1/2 of all arena representation
but so could EMFH. emfh shares a full cd with the trinket, wotf doesnt even share half;
if you are about to argue that emfh is even close to being on par with wotf against those comps, you need to go ahead and gtfo
EA on a caster is very situational. Hardly ever going to be used. i guess thats why you're not playing any gnomes in competitive pvp
Shadowmeld is again situational, requires you to stop casting.
...
...
...
...god forbid?
I was going through why EMFH would be better for melee classes then torrent, it is useless arguing it if those classes can't be blood elves.availability of racial has nothing to do with how powerful it is
Different sets of logic apply to different classes. This is not true, and I explained why above. not when you are using the same set of logic to compare the two classes
Easily rogues
are the best class
for torrent
Again with the personal stuff... irony
I did, to the point where I was unable to post in this thread for five days. In those five days, I had other things on my mind then continuing a pretty useless argument with some guy i've never met from god knows where.
good thing you never actually though

You are missing that humans can have two powerful trinkets, ie. a pure dps one and a +health one, instead of 'wasting' a slot on the mandatory mark for the rest of races.
