What could be causing client to disco constantly in 25 man raids?

the last few 25 man raids I have been on, I have seen the client freeze then give me the old "you have been disconnected from the server" but will allow me to log straight back in.
Now in days gone by i would have said that my PC was struggling to cope with all that was going on, but I am currently running on a quad core CPU with 2x gfx cards in sli and nothing else running in the background. I have a number of add ons loaded, is it possible that there are some add ons know to cause problems?
I should also add that I am on a 50Mb connection (although upload is only about 1.5Mb) which I would have thought was more than adequate for playing WoW :-)

is your connection dropping on you?

Well a week ago it was, but after a new router install and some fiddling about with the cable, all has been rock solid since, so even when the client is kicking me out, my net connection is still there, i know this for two reasons on some occasion i have firefox running on second screen for tactics etc... and all was still wel with it, and even when i have had nothing at all running, the client lets me log back into game immediately, even without hvaing to close and reopen it.

You can try it without as many addons and see what happens. Maybe a router or network interface issue with so many packets coming through?
For me, I used to D/C during really heavy activity in 25 mans but turning off the combat log seems to have fixed that for me.

Maybe the 25 mans are harboring a secret Disco Ball.

There could be a firewall/router that's dropping the connections.
You wouldn't notice it with programs such as Firefox as it would just reopen the connection automatically in the background.
But, since this is only happening in 25m raids that's unlikely.
I would try 2 things. Update your gfx driver if you haven't already and for your next 25m raid, disable all the non-raid addons you're sporting. If that doesn't work, I would try to lower the gfx settings to see if there could be a problem there (even if you have the gfx power needed there could be driver/sli related issues that are causing the problem).

Your site on the other screen won't change if your network goes of, only if you try to redirect from the current site.
Which means, it can be your network.

I am not as noobish to think thats the case, I should have pointed out that i have tried this operating wow in both fulll screen with Sli enabled, full screen without sli enabled. I have tried windowed mode (meaning i can still click immediately to firefox and load other pages etc... and that is all still fine which suggests it is not the connection that is dropping as my previous experince was total lossof all net related connections.
I have removed a number of add ons that were actually not adding any value and will also try disabling on raid related add ons also when the time next comes to see if there is a difference.

When your router connects you to the internet, it does so through an 'IP Profile', which generally denotes the current maximum and average speed you can obtain during that particular session; this is your sync'd speed.
If your router kept disconnecting itself from the internet for whatever reason, be it your ISP's fault or a fault at your end or even you deliberately reseting your router, your phone supplier's system will think there is some sort of line degradation, sync'd speed will drop and, therefore, so will your IP Profile. Over a period of constant connection, your profile will slowly increase and you should obtain better speeds.
TL;DR
Your previous disconnections could still be affecting your current speed and quality of your connection.
