I'm the main holy priest of my guild and I am having some minor issues while healing some of the more raid heal intensive battles in ICC.
here's my profile:
http://www.wowhead.com/profile=us.bloodscalp.icarael
What I try to do mostly is use flash heal on the three lowest and then use Prayer of Healing on the group with the most trouble. Or I'll hit my Ephemeral snowflake trinket and spam Prayer of healing and CoH. while doing both i keep PoM up all the time.
I also toss up a lightwell to help the ranged heal themselves which goes over much better than I anticipated.
The other healer(s) that my guild takes is usually a resto druid or shaman and a holy paladin.

- Snowflake trinket is OK I guess, but Tears of the Vanquished is stronger in my opinion. Much more regen,
and all you really lose is a weak on-use effect.
But you gain one to take its place.

@ the OP.
What are your "issues"?
Are you losing on the meters?
-If this is the case, you shouldn't really care. A good Shaman or Druid should beat a holy priest on the meters in ICC. This discussion has been had many times.
-If you really do care about your meters, use Renew more. Change your spec.
Lose Improved Healing and Divine Fury
. Pick up Blessed Resilience, possibly Mental Agility, and spam Renew ad Infinitum. Then you'll have big numbers on the meters.
-Use Divine Hymn every fight.
Or are people dying?
-This isn't as simple of an issue to address.
-You need to be more raid-aware. Be more predictive with your Renews, Greater Heals (seeing you're specced for it, which is probably a bad idea TBH), and Prayers of Healing. Bubble the tanks if you aren't running with a disco priest. Make good use of your instant cast abilities (you have plenty!). Use your cooldowns more.
Lose Improved Healing and Divine Fury
- you shouldn't be casting Greater Heal in ICC except on VDW, or maybe if the tank really needs it (and you have Serendipity anyway, that should be enough if you have enough haste).
-Remember your bubble can save someone's life, even as holy it's stronger than a Surge of Light Flash Heal.
-Be aware of where people are standing - line-of-sight is a killer on Gunship and Sindragosa, out-of-range is a killer on Blood Princes, Sindragosa, Saurfang, Deathwhisper.
-Use Divine Hymn every fight.
Okay, maybe you can keep Divine Fury, but personally I'd go with Spell Warding for self-preservation. You have to take one or the other anyway.

Thank you all very much for your help. I'll sift through and see what works best for me.
As for the weapon being unenchanted... just got that one last run through and havn't tossed an enchant on it, hehe.
Thanks again!

I agree mostly with this post.
However I don't agree with:
-Bubbles don't save lives. Flash Heal is more powerful that Bubbles, but it does take less time to cast PW:S then it is to cast Flash Heal. My opinion - Flash Heal.
Surge of Light
Flash Heal
heals for BETWEEN 1887 and 2193.
Power Word: Shield
absorbs 2230.
Both have a spell power co-efficient of 80.7%, unless increased by either
Empowered Healing
or
Borrowed Time
. Neither can crit. Therefore Power Word: Shield is more powerful.
I will admit, he has Empowered Healing in his spec; but most priests these days don't have, so while I shouldn't have generalised in his case, I was
generally
correct.
EDIT: Oh, another thing is I have Rank 1 of
Improved Power Word: Shield
due to my desire to have
Mental Agility
in my spec.

The preventative nature of PW:S is much more potent than Flash Heal. It essentially adds an invisible 6-10k (depending on talents, spellpower, etc) hp to that persons own HP, whereas Flash Heal is a reactive heal and is only worth it if the person is missing hp in the first place.
Every spell in our book has a use. PW:S has been many times over a the saving grace to a target i otherwise wouldn't have been able to save.
In no way am I advocating holy toss bubbles constantly, but a once-in-a-while usage isn't gonna kill you, either.

^This.
Also, Xiantra, your arguments have missed my point. I was giving a
situational
example of a spell you use
situationally
as a holy priest. Perhaps I should have expressed myself more clearly.
