Not to mention all those Forsaken apothecaries running around in Ashenvale; and one of the quests sends you into the Barrows Horde side to find that information about them; you'd think someone would mention that an entire Barrow of Druids(semi-allies of the Tauren) had been driven insane and killed by the Forsaken there and the poisons.

There's also the fact that an
Alliance spy
knew the Forsaken were up to no good. Sure, he was killed before he could tell anyone (Other than the idiot player) but come on. The Horde had agents in Lordaeron, even an Apothecary working on a new Plague on an
Orc farm
.
Besides this one absent Ambassador, the only other person to seemingly give a damn about their shady allies is the untrusting Tauren who sends all non-Forsaken players to recover a Scarlet Crusade document about the undead.
I'm not sure what the intrests of that quest giver wanting to understand undeath meant in this.
all this time forsaken have operated under the wire, they quite simply covered anything they needed to and lied about the rest (most the RAS).
Hmm. kind of makes me wonder what will happen with those forsaken in thunderbluff..

you said it yourself. players don't count towards anything in this. you could play a rogue and investigate the things hidden away in undercity and tell thrall, but its just RP there, and not lore.

Your still doing a quest for a member of the faction; you'd think they would share the information with the higher ups when your not doing quests for the Forsaken themselves.
Compendium of the Fallen
The whole thing is pretty clear on how untrusting the questgiver is of the Forsaken. He really doesn't like them. And, of course, he's on the right path considering it's their undeath that has warped their minds so much...
Which is semi-amusing, as the Old Crone and her people were those who rallied the support for getting the corpses into the Horde in the first place, after the forsaken ambassadors stopped being killed on sight.

Well the questgiver didn't appear to be grimtotem, and aside from the grimtotem following her word, the other tauren appeared to question it, but likely magatha twsited cairnes ear.

Garrosh is son of his father, amirite? Only that Thrall (and us) also convinced him that his father was a hero, hence, he will behave likewise thinking he is doing the right thing.
Also, make Garrosh raid Kara and reclaim Gorehowl, Blizzard, I beg you.

I believe that Garrosh to Grom is like what Renault was to his father Alexandros Mograine. Alexandros was a noble man at it and the ashbringer, but his son was a cowardly bastard and murderer. The son does not always reflect the father, and that does both ways either good or bad. Just because Garrosh is Groms son does not mean he will act with the same honor and code of conduct Grom did.
As it was said about Grom, he was content on just leading his clan and following his warchief, who became like a brother to him.
Garrosh isn't content with that, he wants to take absolute control of not just the horde, but to wipe out all alliances too.
He isn't his father, perhaps in rage but not in Groms sense of honor. And I think many characters haven't pegged to that yet.

That bit about the bombing of the night elven settlement in Cata seems to show he has honor. Because it was an underhanded tactic and one-sided fight (if you can call nuking a location a fight), Garrosh got *!@#ed as the commander who had organized it and then killed him.
Garrosh:
Extreme = Yes.
Honorless = No.

Hai Doomhammer! Really, Garrosh seems like his leadership may be a little more like Orgrim's, although it's really difficult to tell until Cata is released and I can experience it all for myself.

Garrosh:

And for my counter point: Someone who believes its ok to kill children to stop them raising arms against you in later years.

Garrosh executes or exiles Cairne (don't know yet), since it will be his autograph we will look for during children's week (lurk the database, it's there)

Hmm, descrpency here. As Garrosh asks the commander if he enjoyed killing infants before he kills him.
Guess we'll just have to wait for Beta or release.

Actually, from what's come out of the Alpha so far:
Cairne disagrees with some of Garrosh's actions and the two decide to fight it out honorable in the Ring of Valor. Unknown to either, Magatha has poisoned Cairne to make the injures he recives in battle against Garrosh fatal. She also sends assassins after Bane, who manages to overcome them and becomes cheiftan of the Bloodhoof. Because of this, the Grimtotem Clan is exiled from Thunder Bluff.

Dude, best get some details before saying this. It seems the likely thing is going to be Magatha poisoning cairne, and cairne dying in a fight against Garrosh from the poison, which garrosh runs away from thinking he did it. That senario seems the most detailed one so far on cairnes fate.

I must say that that's actually...a really,
really
good move by Blizzard. $%^&ing Garrosh up by making him think that he's murdered Cairne. That explains why some Grimtotems are friendly with Alliance players; as well as Garrosh's proposed change of heart..

Hmm, that seems to explain it. Whether that is how it will turn out in WoW remains to be seen, but that looksk to be the most likely scenario.

Women = Yes.
Ugly Cow Women That Side With the Living Dead = No.
